  1. was playing guild wars all night with the cat6 cord thing and i was still get hit with lag spikes sometimes huge ones, any other suggestions or should i just try to replace my modem?
  2. the cord that ran to my 360 was a cat6-50 or so it says i switched them gonna see if it makes a difference but the cat 6 was messing up on my 360 so who knows but ill post again once i see if the lag has stopped after the switch
  3. it says cat3 high performence patch cable
  4. sorry about late response been working lol, anyways idk how to tell what kind of cord it is, if u tell me how i can look and get back to you? and i could understand the corrupt download messing up my connection on my PC but idk how it would mess up my 360 connection too
  5. well final fantasy i play on my PC and it acts up, but my brother who plays the same game on same connection on a laptop a few feet away has no troubles. Im curious if it could be the ethernet cords i have running to my PC and 360? im gonna try to call comcast see if they know anything
  6. I have a comcast cable connection which is run through a router into 3 pc's and an xbox 360, i have connection to them all and everything, its just that when i play a game such as gears of war or final fantasy XI, my connection is good then (idk how to describe it) its like a gap in the connection like this _________ ___________ ______ ____ ________ sometimes those gaps are small and unnoticable by myself (other players complain alot) but then theres big ones which either disconnect me from the game or just make me wait a long time. I pretty sure its not the router because i connected straight to the modem with my 360 and still got the spikes, if anyone can help that would be great and thanks in advance.
