Anyone know why SSCC has been crashing almost non stop for the past 48 hours? It comes up for a short time, then down, then up, then down, etc.

Ok, coming up over 6 hours of downtime now. Can we get an update on this? Kind of getting tired of explaining the function of the biller to my players

I am looking for someone who is decent or better at working with bots. Need someone who can create a reliable turf style spawn point bot. There are several issues that can cause wireless problems like this. 1) Router is too close to EMI sources such as speakers, subwoofers, the PC itself, any large appliance, etc 2) Cordless phones in the house operating on the same frequency 3) Not enough power in the signal 4) Thick metal between you and the router 5) Solar flares (Yes, I'm serious! Rare, but had to toss it in) 6) Faulty Router Want to test the router itself? Connect via wireless, once you are getting the 6000ms ping, use the wireless connection to access the routers interface, go to the diagnostics, and run some pings/traceroutes. That will tell you if it is the router, or the wireless signal. If its the signal, start eliminating the above named issues one at a time. If this still doesnt work, try another wireless router and see if you get the same issues. Beyond that, yer screwed. Shock: I know you said you gave up, but someone posted this thread to me asking me to post back with something. P.S. I agree with above posts regarding Linksys. Their quality has gone down the drain in recent years. Get a Belkin or D-Link for home use.

I will have you all know that I spent over 2 hours last night voting through proxy servers to keep us within range of #2. Some schmuck was doing the same thing for Runescape, or we'd be back 100 votes right now from 2nd.

It is not often that such an old school game like Subspace can, after 10 years, still pull awards with such minimal changes as the primary software has had. Unlike many games, there have been no expansions, no huge graphics improvements, no real advertising (Do you see a single Cont link or banner anywhere other than Cont/SS related sites? Look at the voting site, theres a ton of adverts for games no where NEAR the top 10). Also, are you aware that this month is, I believe, the 10 year anniversary of the primary VIE launch of SS (Someone correct me if I am wrong, it has been a LONG time). What better honor than to win some recognition for it.

Yeah, we have DS going off on the voting too. I know that I personally am adding about 14 votes per day thanks to my servers at work. We might actually make it to the top again, which would be funny since if you click on Continuum for a description, it says we no longer exist

Even after you've been banned from the Zone AND Site, you continue to act like you're all that and have a angry mob behind you ready to charge into DS and do something dramatic. Trying to turn Amphibious, 2pacalypse, and who knows else against Viligante proves that. All the staff you turned against Viligante came to their senses after getting the actual truth from Death?to?all. You start riots, it's what you're good at. I should have pointed certain aspects of that application out to Staff, while you were a Probation Mod.
