Think about what would happen without a reset, before posting silly things like these please. Unless you honestly think that a zone where everyone has '$toomuchtospend and a ridiculous amount of experience in their account' is fun. Must be great to start in such a zone. People instantly give you millions, and then all you have to do is play for a few weeks to get the experience to spend it. I'd argue the only thing that stopped the zone from dying years ago is the reset. I wounder how RPG games make it with out their resets then. Talk about silly things. We all know resets are a temp fix. It fill in a bit of freshness before the zone reaches an apex to which then a player can reach within months with nothing more to achieve. (another reset?) To much to money to spend? You hindered your own point when you said "play for a few weeks to get the experience to spend it." I have never had a problem with having the funds to pay for my own items. The zone flag games and money kills already reward at a generous rate, by when the time you have the exp, you have the money. This only doesn't work of course of you prefer to use more then one ship - but even still - you would still have the funds to start a second class ship and to add a few buffs it, by the time you first ship is buffed. The problem is lack of high end content. When i got to 20k exp (even at 15k) in 3 months when i was hardcore, that was it. There wasn't anything more to work towards (of potential value). All i could do was flaunt around in the ship(s) during flag games, for that was all that was left. There is merit to be said about the resets. It does give the zone a second coming (how many has there been anyways?) where as i said, will give you the freshness. But there is something fundamentally wrong with the idea of "there needs to be a reset, to save the zone." It's short sighted, not long term, and perhaps means that the achievements of the zone (as great as their are) are short, and thus short lived. To imply/state that comments made about dislike in resets, with dismissive, and judgmental remarks, is very narrow minded thinking, potentially structurally damaging, and limiting. You have people here that tell you a reason why they don't play, and you dismiss their answer as if it's made up, and left for other reasons. Or so as implied. You have a variety of reasons to why people don't play. It's not a pick and choose which you think are correct.
