i like sui's idea, ban/jail/spec duels could be a fun little thing that sets HS from the otherzones.. plus..its not like the other person is forced to accept that way people who want the chance to duel and improve can duel vets without losing 10k+ everytime. meh your call

great alien tech, but if you're going to make it take up an alien tech spot and expensive..probably up the percent of energy redued to 20-40%. i'd like to see them..especially good for duelers who dont want AD, or fields.

errr..no? in this case, most of the older players would leave. vet dominance is due because they act like a team and help each other succeed. this is true for any group of members who cooperately act together and work for the better of a whole rather then the better of themselves. the reason brickwarp and gundamwing have been so successful, is because they stand united, rather then the scattered members of the public freqs. another issue is: players who know what theyre doing dont want to base with idiots. new players might not know what theyre doing and cause the whole team to lose in the end. no offense, but 15vs15 would be no fun, the defending team obviously has a huge advantage. they could just stack bounty spiders. Even with 3 or 4 reps..the attacking team would most likely not be able to get through considering most rushing ships have under 1.5k energy and with 8 spiders spraying beam arry, thats instant death.

btw, HSFL and HSDL are especially good when everyone gets to the level where money is useless and boring and everyone has what they want on thier ships thats why they're perfect before resets btw, def. needs lots of advertisment etc etc, lots of planning so it doesnt end as a failure. thats all

Dueling Arena. spiders,levis, etc etc should be able to duel too. not just wb and jav. also i think the ht dueling place should be bigger. shrap needs to be fixed, but you already know that ---- HSFL and HSDL (Hyperspace Flagging/Dueling League) please, please host theses asap. will make squads worthwhile..and its a fun event for all. (hosted in a different arena then pub 0 so that other players who dont want to watch/arent playing can still do whatever.) HSFL two locked teams of 7-15(depends on how many players the squads have) who complete for honor of "who's the best squad" this shouldn't be hard to host..just once every couple of months right before the next reset. Compete for best flagging squad, Prizes? HSDL haha..this will be great. for people like blue teams of 3-8(depends again) fight to death. 10 deaths and youre out? players choose ships etc.etc. compete for best dueling squad, prizes again? PRIZES perhaps instead of HS cash, prizes that involve bounty would be better? depending on the importance of the event etc.etc. Prize(50-100Bty) Unimportant Events Prize(100-200Bty)Sorta Important? Prize(200-500Bty)Important events Also people can get reward prizes for making bases, making big contributions to HS. Much more practical and fair then prizing developers/ contributors Hidden/Prototype/10mill Alien Techs. EVENTS more? the events we have now arent that great foosball is fun but not enough population. elim is too big :/ too easy for hiders. good idea though, especially with the buy/sell. something i really dont like is how all the events are compressed into .?go events i think we should implement fusion's layout of events, where each event gets it's own arena. .?go race- map especially for racing purposes (we should make a new one btw ;P) some event ideas .?go bounce(from rs ) same thing as race, but walls are SUPER bouncy .?go flank(fusion) a donut or square with a hole in the middle, where players try to eliminate the other team by flanking considering its a loop. thorwars? two teams boxed up a good distance apart with one lanc, try to thor the !@#$%^&* out of each other. zombies- selfexplanatory baserace-race race through a versoin of all the bases combined again, people should be prized(see above under PRIZE) for making event/base maps and hopefully this will encourage them well..comments suggestions. im dying for HSFL and HSDL. not many good flag games around these days whether its because of a flanking team, uneven population among freqs, people who just quickwin, etc etc. im sure many feel my pain. pub day is fun..but the problem is 20vs20 is just rediculous :/ its all red spray :[ bibi

This argument proves to be a strong one, as rather then just claiming whether something was fair, or unfair, it uses a lot of evidence and strong evidence as that. “I have all the logs if anyone wants to see them”-ipwn As much as I would appreciate consideration of reprieving my ban, I doubt so much is possible. As many of you know, Quigybobo is part of HS development team, which means he uses his personal time to make HS better. We take for granted that behind the scenes, without people like Quigybobo and Doc, HS can not run and improve upon mistakes. If banning me makes up for the hours after hours of hard work he’s dedicated into the zone, then so be it. The message I got from a lot of what Quigy said/did around the time of my ban is that Hsdev team can do anything. Whether they want multiple alien techs, tacnuke on weasel or 10million dollar alien tech’s on their ships, they can have it due to the fact, we only enjoy the game because of what Hsdev has made of the zone. Threats on banning for whims such as “being annoying” or having an annoying “private team name” certainly support this. The sad reality is doc is one person and cannot do everything. Therefore, he cannot “axe” someone as important as quigy. Players such as me always come and go. But dev staff is hard to find. Rather then ranting on a few threats, and impulsive actions quigy has taken, why not commend him for his mercy. He only decided to ban one, even though he could have bant almost one third of HS’s population and he banned me for the minimum amount of days, although he could have bant me anywhere from a week to a year. I still do not know why I was chosen after I had clearly stopped for a long period after the warning Quigy posted in public chat, but I hope Quigy gets the most out of this ban. Many could argue that I had a unfair advantage, and if no one was banned, pub would argue and rant on the mod’s for not doing their job. But from what doc previously stated, any program that does not modify the client in anyway is completely legal. Until yesterday, where that statement was proved incorrect, that was what doc said himself. I would much rather Doc add new prototype guns and bombs etc. etc. and D1 to do whatever he does then investigate upon a topic that is obviously biased and favors my reprieve. If Quigy decides to keep his pride over popularity that is his personal issue. One week without Hyperspace isn’t too bad. I am rather curious of Quigy’s personal response to his actions, otherwise don’t bother yourselves. Every mod/ HS developer deserves at least 1 mistake, if not every week :]

isn't just a bit sketchy if a mod can ban you if you're flashing a bit too much. you know if you set cloak as capslock and hold capslock the same effect is produced. and i would like to know what advantage autocloak gives you.. deathmonger? ..the ability to cloak? -even with bot reflexes- what is xradar used for again? but.. before this doc said key manipulation was alright.. anyone could have misinterpreted that. and i'm still wondering..why i was chosen..about 10-15minutes after a public warning. and just banned as a example after i had clearly stopped. thats why, at the time of me being bant, i didnt know what i did wrong, which is why i asked quigybobo why i was bant, and yet i was ignored. my friends on my chat had to later tell me, that i was randomly chosen as the glorious example.

um questions. when i asked quigy about my ban, why was i ignored? at least tell me why i was banned. when i found out it was because of auto-cloak..im wondering, why was i picked out of many? and why post a warning to everyone if youre going to ban someone anyways? I'll let you all know this right now, 3rd party programs used in this zone earns you an instant 7 day ban or more. I will not tolerate auto cloaking programs or anything of the sort. -Quigybobo' ermm.. after this statement was made, everyone using autocloak decided to stop. please clarify why you still decided to ban me. lastly..how can you decide to ban me for something i did before doc stated was illegal?

i think it would be nice if it showed total max speed, total max thrust and for every item that gives/takes away speed/thrust how much speed/thurst it gives/takes away. maybe its dumb idk.

haha pinball with nme lanc..thats fun. also thors are too powerful. do a good 1kdmg. and ive seen it to 1.5k at the most. nerfff it! maybe change seige pack to one thor? lol think about it.. if someone made a turret with all thors..8man privs = 16 thors..and since each thor does around 300-400..lawl you could seige a base without ever stepping foot in it.

well im not so much concerned with how to make tw p!@#$%^&* and ID drives balanced..but i just think its lame that you can blow up turrets that ive been driving for hours with the merest whim and without having to try hunt me down. type .?id c doesnt take a pro. > so at least make ID drives take full nrg to activate..

erm.. ID drive seems to be too good.. eliminates the need for tw pass and the fact that the safe in tw is gone..it make tw even worse.. also ID should take full energy to activate, otherwise people can ID to safety and have a "win-win" situation. 1.NME is destroyed 2.got away safely and i hate how people ID my turret and end up killing it..Its a bloody lame way to kill somebody. even with a 1/10 chance of blowing up..when everyone is doing it that percentage goes up considerably. You might say "Well a 10 percent chance is still relativley low" but its funny how within 5-10 minutes someone always get that "10%" chance. I think ID drive should be changed so you cant use ID people by.. 1.Making energy failure just affect the person who got a energy failure. or 2.Making ID Drives require full energy to use. This makes it harder to ID to safety or get close enough to a turret to blow it up.. mmm post suggestions.opinions. yay.

yup..doc you fixed it.. really not hard to test actually. forcing a spec glitch just requires you to pick a random spot (thats still) and warp into a ship. if it does work push f11 and repeat..7 or 8 times and you got it.. most people dont have the patience. but yeah you cant force them anymore.. gj doc.

rc, if you saw players good at lag attaching, get through vets bases like a breeze, i think you'd at least reconsider and try using shark. hmm just a suggestion. i dont see what the big deal is. nobody uses shark anyways.
