A lot of people would not like this change though, so you would have to be able to choose manual-ad or auto-ad perhaps they could be 2 different items.... but you would never know which one that a person had >_< On a slightly unrelated topic, perhaps there could be a cheaper AD (primarily for anchor lancs) that only worked every 2 min and cost 175k or something.

The point here is to give lancs the ability to fire from waaay back (perhaps give it ++++gun speed/bombspeed and lotsa bounces on the bomb, and it can fire from the back lines=bty and $$$) lancs wont be able to move well then, they'll have a hard time moving and they will bounce all over the walls Afterburners.... I have a lanc with -1 thrust and i always use afterburners whenever i need to change direction that way, they won't rush cause afterburners would take too much energy.
  3. I agree completely. I would have always liked to see lanc as an anchor ship with more bomb bounces and faster bullet speeds. Perhaps there could be an item... Anchor Base >+4 speed (to get to the base) >+3 energy (to be a good anchor) >+2 recharge (^) >+more bullet and bombspeed/bomb bouncing (to be able to fight from the back)[is this possible?] >-5 thrust (to stop rushing) >-all rockets (to stop rushing) The energy and recharge could use some changes, but it sounds good overall... Discuss.
  4. I think that the ?adtime should be added, but I agree with Dr. that ID to/from tunnels is bad. (then again, i've never had ID )
  5. One could hypothetically set the cloak button right next to the shoot button (i had it that way for a little while, but it got annoying... too much for my left hand and using too many letter keys ) but this topic is gonna be dead/closed soon anyway, so i thought i'd give my 2 cents.

"Autocloaking", as far as I know, refers to the use of a program that turns your cloak back on as soon as you are done shooting, therefore keeping your cloak on almost all the time (without you having to press the cloak button manually after each shot.) I'm not staff though, so i can't help you past that.

  9. Ahem. With the additional suggestions of having it kill your bty when bought and adding no-brick tiles around the hardware store, this idea would work well. IMO the reasons bricks should be brought back are 1)rushing sharks 2)base 4 (some of those bomb/bullet lines are too good if the defending team knows how to use them)

"only 50k"? for some people, that's a reasonable amount of money. and now that the portals are back to normal (you dont automatically go to center of jump gate exit), portal mining is less of a problem. in addition, the sell price of 25k is kinda low, like if you want to just get it for a little while or don't find it useful enough. RE: syrith ok, then perhaps just remove energy deplete. often times you would want to escape an enemy, and if you have low energy, the failure will kill you; if you have high energy, you should be able to escape without the low energy killing your defences against incoming enemies. Also, the enemy can merely follow you in; you should have some energy to escape while they are getting their bearings.

Because you cannot suicide ppl with the jump engine explosion Or mine the exit of jump, jump engines are very difficult to use IMO. *perhaps...* 1)make jump engines open instantly, so that people can use it to escape if they have full nrg (instead of being killed upon opening the jump portal). or 2)don't make jump engines take away ALL energy, make it just 1/2 energy so you can escape thru portal w/o being killed by inc shots. just suggestions
