I will be hosting, organizing, and running the Non-RSHL Tournament III (NRSHLT III) this offseason with the help of Leafy and a few other experienced guys from Hockey Zone who are interested in helping boost the zone's population. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the NRSHLT, let me fill you in. The NRSHLT is a tournament where teams composed of players with no HZ league experience battle it out until only one team is remaining. The last team standing is usually offered a spot in the RSHL or MSHL, depending on how well their roster holds out throughout the tournament. On top of this, many players who have always wanted to try Hockey Zone but found the learning curve too steep or the community too harsh will find in this tournament the perfect chance for them to become half-decent at the game. Many NRSHLT alumni were recruited by RSHL teams after the tournament and went on to have great success in Hockey Zone. Even if you're just looking to have some fun and try something different than basing or dueling, the NRSHLT will be a fun event and a nice way to make some new friends from different zones. Think of this as Hockey Zone's Scouting Combine. I will be the main Tournament Director, Leafy will be !@#$%^&*isting me. This tournament is designed for newer players, so nobody should feel intimidated about making or joining a team. Everyone will be on even footing here. I also plan on holding training clinics for the players involved in the tournament to help them get a feel for the game. If anyone who is not currently in the RSHL or MSHL would like to form a team, get a roster together and send me an email (nbarretta34@gmail.com) with your team name and roster. None of your players can have experience, current or prior, on an RSHL or MSHL team. The rules will be the same rules used for RSHL Season 13, which are located here: http://www.rshl.org/mambo/index.php?option...0&Itemid=58. I will make a few minor adjustments to correspond with the tournament format, and I will let you guys know as soon as possible. HZ Settings will also be the same as they are right now. Offical tournament news and updates will be located here: http://rshl.org/forums/index.php?topic=141...95784#msg195784 Thanks in advance, I hope to see a large turnout
