I too have an 8800gts and this is my exact problem..

much like another user the graphics are all overlaying each other and when they are good in between i can't read any type... like names and messages and such. upgraded from a nvidia 6800gt to a nvidia 8800gtx which requires the drivers i mentioned above and along came this graphics issue. any ideas to help.. or i guess i probably have to wait for the drivers to get updated.
