Sounds like a bug from when they merged the kick starter data in the date part. Yes you get two copies, so you can keep both or gift one to a friend. May make sense to hold on to it as newcomers won't have lifetime insurance on ship hulls like we will. Will be able to sell on the in game market for credits.
