That's exactly the same reason why I quit this game. As previously said before, Continuum is a community. The only problem is, when the ONLINE community takes the game too seriously and somehow manages to drag e-politics and drama into it. I originally joined the game to be able to escape reality (and the drama that came with that) whenever I wanted. But after years of playing, I began to become aware and even involved in the drama. My home zone was Halo, and over the span of a few years with the problems of the owners and server hosts, the game simply just lost its fun. Also, when Halo went through possibly 6 owners and 2-3 servers (I don't remember the numbers anymore) over a period of maybe 2 years, people began to stop playing the zone for numerous reasons: 1) Too much drama. 2) Got annoyed at having to download the zone repeated times as a result of the server change. 3) During all the drama, the zone was sometimes down for days. Once again, the community was a factor. When people stopped playing, my e-friends also stopped playing. In the later years of my "career," I did not play the game, simply sat in spec and talked with people. When those people left, combined with the e-politics and drama, I decided it was time to go.
