OMG! The same thing is happening to me right now. I had a few trojans on my computer and I followed some steps that I found on a site and successfully removed them off. I restarted my computer and started SS and my CPU usage jumped to 100% and like Unlimted said it jumps everywhere in the task manger box. I don't want to go back to system restore because the trojans will be back on my computer again. Another thing to note is that, this only happens when I try and run SS, all other programs run fine. Anyone have any ideas? I really need this to be fixed.

its only for ss, if i listen to music for example it runs fine...... and whats wrong with sound, its there for a reason

reboots only when i turn on sound in ss

i can't turn on my sound in ss. If i do so in 10 mins or so the comp automatically shutsdown.... i have no idea whats wrong with it. plz help
