My pedantic self notices that you were inconsistent on whether the blocks have rounded corners. For example: Look at the blue corners. Then look at the green corners. But anyhoo. It's a nifty tileset. I think that the doors would look nice in action.

Some of you will be familliar with Mage+ getting the Maze of Theseus, slapping his own name on it (badly), and having it uploaded to TW. Apparently, the staff got wind of it and removed the map. So, I got permission from Walter to use the unedited Maze of Theseus as a map. I've already got a different version (retiled, text next to the safe, etc) of this on TW development zone. I was thinking that Devastation would also want to get in on the crazy maze action. Now, I DON'T want the attached file uploaded. Couple of reasons for this. 1. I want to use a different tileset. 2. I need to use a different tileset. The current one is from TW. So... does anyone have any fancy tilesets to suggest? Theseus.lvl

Well, I made a base. It's barely small enough to fit in the corner. I'm pretty sure that it's loooong. It's got six arms, six safes, and lots of variation in the features. And not a single door anywhere (people really seem to hate those). I added it onto Hakaku's arena (the one with Mage+'s base). I sure hope that I did everything right... Do I need to include the .lvl.BAK file? Devabled2.lvl

they have 100's of events but there's no list of all events! D: I think I saw one sometime... it was a long time ago, on the TW website... when they had the old layout, which is apparently gone now. www.trenchwars.org IS the only tw website, right?

What's Christmas shaped like?

A few minutes ago, tm logged in to devastation. He was in a car crash (a bad one, multi-car on the freeway at ~75mph) and was in hospital for a couple of weeks. In the crash, he broke his wrist, ankle, collarbone, and three ribs. The wrist is making life painful for him at the moment, but everything else has healed up OK (if I remember correctly). He is currently without a car, and getting driven to work by family. He is dealing with getting back into full-time work, fixing his internet connection, and other miscellaneous things. He has said that he is unlikely to be IN deva much, if at all (play is out of the question, using one hand), but will be back eventually. Also: I can't log into SS as Pure Grififn Hybrid any more, because I forgot my password. I may be using one of the following names: Pure Gravy Heaven zippocat Feathers McGraw PGH out.

So we get a point for creating a new event, or for winning one?

where did you get that avatar from, it's cute That's a looped piece of an animation called "for the birds" (I think). It's played before a movie, but I can't remember which one... Probably Shrek or Monsters. Anyhoo. Problem one: I couldn't save images as .bm2s with any of my graphics programs. I had a look on the internet, and found this. So I: 1. Converted the image I wanted (a jpg) into bmp form. 2. Went into Windows Explorer and manually renamed it splash.bm2. 3. Saved a copy of that file in my continuum/graphics folder. 4. Fired up continuum. It performed an illegal operation, and was shut down. So I conclude that there must be either something wrong the file that I made or the client. Any ideas? *edit* hang on a moment, I just thought of a possible problem. Let me check before replying... (There's a game on my computer which, after I play it, causes all other games to crash (including itself) until I restart my computer.) *edit* OK, I restarted my computer. Fired up continuum. Is there any way that I can get transparency into my custom splash image?

You know the red-and-black explosion-and-space-themed continuum logo that appears when you launch Continuum? http://img127.imageshack.us/img127/923/examplero7.jpg This one? I want to change this for a DIFFERENT picture. First, I looked in the continuum client for any options where I could set which picture is used in the startup. I couldn't see any. Next, I looked through all the continuum folders for that image (manually opening up each .bm2 file to see what it was), so that I could manually replace it with my own (insert my new picture into the folder, overwriting the default picture). The default start-up grphic doesn't seem to be in there. So, I give up. Is there something obvious that I've missed? Is this even possible to do? Do you need more information?

What, no feedback at all? Something along the lines of "the bases could be more open"? Or even just tm saying that he "doesn't really like the idea"? It's like everyone's died or something.

Here's the arena I made for the new conquer-type game that I thought up. I made a post about it someone around here... But anyways. Any feedback would be appreciated. Keep in mind that I was trying to keep the bases rather short - it's not made for continuous basing, but for a single event. Also, I don't know how to get the flags working properly. They're supposed to be stationary, a little like a turf war. FeudalNew.lvl

Basically, it's a mix between conquer and the basing that Deva is so famous for. The arena consists of four short bases in very close proximity. Every base is identical in design, for two reasons: 1. No unfair advantages 2. It's easier to make The game is played by 2-4 teams, who start the game by each owning one base. The spawn in a room at the end of the base. A short way from the spawn room is the flag room, which holds a single stationary flag. The players attempt to do three things: 1. Defend their own flag from being captured 2. Capture enemy flags 3. Defend their own lives, because this is Conquer. Unlike normal conquer, this game has no captain for each team. Instead, the flag basically takes this role. If it is captured, the teams that were supposed to defend it change onto the capturing team. To give players a chance of actually capturing the enemy flags (as opposed to merely being defeated in the base combat) they have about 5 lives. When they die for the fifth time, they change to the team that defeated them last. Aaaannnd I think that's all the rules that I've thought of. It's probably not very clear, but I hope you'll understand.
