Hi. Thanks for replying. First you talk about not understanding which toys to use in base, because you never get to. Then you claim that the mechanics of basing are transferrable from zone to zone. Please explain this contradiction.

Hi. Sounds like you're the one looking at this from one side. A side shared by you, and anonymous unnamed persons not on forums. Why don't you respond to my post point by point? Then we'll talk.

13th stop being so dramatic about you "officially quitting". Who do you think you are, president of the UN? Hi, when two freqs are attacking you from both front and behind, that's called a flank. Flanking=multiple freqs. Multiple freqs=more people. More people=higher pop. Higher pop=good. Yes, the rich do get richer, but it gets to be a certain point where money is no object, so they say. Firstly, you can only put so much on a single ship. There IS a limit. Obviously, you can only play one ship at a time. That greatly negates your cries of OMG H8 ARISTOCRACY. After a certain point, it just doesn't matter. What's the difference between 100mil and 200mil if you have fully upped ships on all of them? On the other hand, it really does not take that much money/time to invest in a single ship with decent stats for flagging. Lots of people are very helpful in this zone, all eager to explain what bullets/bombs/etc are good for what ship. Some will even lend/give you some money to start out. It isn't difficult to get into the swing of things. Further, I don't know if you've ever played any other flagging zones, but they're ALL dominated by the vets. Hi, if you have a pop big enough to support priv freqs, consider that a GOOD THING! Established squads will always have an advantage over newer players, not only bc they have OMG MORE MONEY?!, but they have a deeper understanding of basic flagging mechanics. They're also better organized, and work together as a team. Even if you got rid of the entire money system, vets would still be winning most of the pots. Vets winnings pots has NOTHING to do with this class gap that you're whining about. On the other hand, the notion of making things cheaper is one of the worst ideas you could have. What draws players to this zone is the RPG-like characteristic of building up a character, fraying for money, etc, to buy upgrades. Once they get everything upped, they will get bored and leave. What keeps them coming back for more is saving up for that antideath, or that tacnuke, etc. Games have to be challenging. This is a very basic principle.
