This might as well be in trash talk considering the bashing. As for a new staff member, I believe Rare gets a say but D1 is the actual hiring sysop unless this has changed from when I cared. As for the hiring process there is no way to submit and application and such. It's more leading by example and being an ideal and constructive player. If no new staff members have been hired perhaps no one playing currently comes close to the ideal. AND before you decide to use my model to bash staff members, once a player gets staff, it's quite hard to lose that position due to stupidity, insanity, depending on your charisma; inactivity may be a factor, aggressiveness or vigilante-like behavior. The only reasons you could get axed is breaking the rules stated on this forum or the rules outlined to all mods by their superiors. Anyways, a better way to have presented this topic is a poll so we could get definitive numbers on who wants more staff and who doesn't. (Which I will make now)
