Gawd. It's a simple fact that they don't want to make people sick watching politically motivated propaganda while they are trying to have some fun watching the superbowl. Makes sense to me.
Well to Fix some problems with nuclear why not build them deep in the ground below the water table? That way if the unthinkable happens they can be contained by a self inflicted "cave in". Etheral(Corn fuel): cost too much energy to produce to actually be of much benefit. Wind: We would need alot of land to produce enough electricty? Why? Since when do we have to put them on land? Why not build floating windmils in the ocean? Isn't the wind out there stronger anyway? Solar: I think it's a good idea to use with another power sorce as it is slightly affective if you put panels ontop of large buildings for extra electrictiy Cold Fusion(Like in CHain Reaction): Did you watch that movie? yikes! Altho I am sure that is HollyWoodiesed*. If it were possible to get the chain reaction under control then we wouldn't have to worry about energy ever again. We would have a vast almost unending source. Noone will ever have to pay for electricty again. Sounds to me like a fary tale. First there is the containment problem. Seconds we have government/electricty providers to deal with that are just plain gready. Thermal(Capping an underwater valcano): I think this is an interesting idea. Altho not sure exaclty how far off this is or even if we have an idea on how it might be pulled off. So As of what we currently have I think we should use some nuclear but try to use a combination of solar/wind/water as much as possible/viable in order to reduce the need for more nuclear power plants.
I think the AOC should be a few tests. A competency test to see if you are actually smart enough to know what your getting yourself into. And an awareness test to make sure you know of all the cir-*BAD WORD*-stances surrounding your decision. That would be the good and the bad. But WAIT... that is won't work. It makes the governmewnt do more work. So of caorse they will want to "make sure" that the tests were conducted properly. So having a strict AOC is easier on them and us. The only thing wrong with that is the varied age from state to state. Maybe we should just change it to a world wide AOC Take a vote on what the majority of people beleive it should be. Possibly re-check this every 2-4 years or so. I'm not saying I can fix the world, but if I just sit back and don't give any input I might as well be on the other side.
512MB PC2700 DDR and NVidia Riva TNT2 (Loaner till Ti4200 gets replaced) XP 1200+(Loaner till I get 2400+ replaced). When I go in it just really screws up ... Works better in windowed mode but still not good enough to play.
