By crash id asume you mean the program terminates abnormaly. If so, in order to diagnose it id have to see the crash on my own system in a debug state. What zone and what type of biller are you on. Also if you want me to look into it, put the name Admiral Kirk on the VIP in the zone so i can connect (unless your zone is NOT ctm only, in which case its a moot point) and ill see if i can reproduce the crash. If not, then I might email you a debug version of the client so we can track the bug down. - Admiral Kirk

ok, for subchat you have to be a staffer or on the vip.txt for it to work. kirk isn't exactly working on the chat anymore considering the amount of time he has...maybe one day there will be a new version of it.

Developement of SubChat has recently come to a stand still and will most likly remain that way for awhile. I just recently lost my only connection to the internet from my personal computer (typing this up on my gfs comp) and without an internet connection, its sort of hard to develope on online client for subspace ^^. Anyway, sorry to disapoint all those waiting for new features, I still plan to jump back on the devel once I have internet again. I used to have free dialup, but apparently the isp got wise and deleted the account. I cant afford even basic dialup (-*BAD WORD*- i can barely afford to eat) soooo, itll be awhile. Again, sorry. And this project is NOT dead! Just set back a little. I promise just as soon as I can manage to get an internet connection again (if you know any good FREE ones PLEASE!! tell me [access in FL, Gainesville required]) ill begin devel once again. Bergeld: the sugestion was for something much more intigrated and more sophisticated than what your sugesting. A built in IRC client would, infact, be about in the realm of what Jules was sugesting. A built in IRC client accessable from outside of any zone as well as inside zones. Anyway, keep dreaming mabye some day theyll come true.

Just to clarify, I can make it so the commands arnt run when changing arenas im sure. However, not issuing them after a DC would cause a problem. Not much I can do about that im afraid... Eventualy such things as Death, Leave, and Enter msgs on by default will be a check box setting, but for now im afraid the best I can do is not re-issueing auto commands when arenas change. Sorry.

Sorry jules, looks like the NeySayers swamped your topic before anything constructive could be said. Its an interesting idea, and one me and snrrrub had intended to put into our now dead ss clone. (a server without a client isnt much use ^^). Many other MMOG's have introduced this idea with great success. We all know of course that nothing of the kind will ever be done by the current "developement team" but its a nice idea none the less.

Someone else had mentioned it was a pain for the Auto to run every time you changed arenas, I didnt see any reason to fix it before but I guess its become an issue now. Ill work something out.

Im certain the Checksum formula works fine, since the arena you initialy enter always has correct checksums, its only when changing arenas that things get messed up. Im sure I forgot to reset something or reset something that shouldnt have been somewhere along the line. Hey, for a 10 min hack, im surprised it worked at all Ill figure it out.

Kirk> It is the level checksum, that much i know for certain, i was pretty sure where the bug was, and it only happened for ME when the level file had to be downloaded before the checksum was calculated, if the level already existed, it worked fine. let me know what you find out, because if my previous !@#$%^&*umption is incorrect, then i gotta start all over again looking for the bug.
