Admiral Kirk> Because everything should be released, and if you have security concerns with releasing your code, its cause your code sucks. Ya thats probably harsh and far to large a generalization, and probably only applies to hard core coders but still. OpenSSH, and OpenSSL pretty much prove that security can be had with open source. -*BAD WORD*-, those teams themselves just found a bunch of security vulnerabilitys and fixed them before they were ever exploited. Why? Cause the code is open sourced, someone else critiqued it, and notified them of thier problems. Instead of the Microsoft way, where you only find out about a vulnerability after someone has exploited it. Anyway, I digress. BigSlam has a shaddy and very old history with me. Perhaps hes changed, who knows. I could mention a certain quest for a certain Sniper Server many many years ago. But anyway. I am a skilled C++ coder with vast experience with MySQL and MSSQL databases. But one word, I dont work on projects that arnt or wont become open sourced. Its just an ethics thing. But then, you probably dont want my help anyway so no matter ^^. Later
