I just bought a new computer and like, I dont know if its my vid card ( dont think it is becuase i can play cs fine) but my fps drops alot and makes it skippy on my side.. I know you can go to advanced options and stuff, but it still dont work.. Does it have something to do with my monitor size? (24 inch widescreen) internet connection is cable, i have exited programs, still drops from 75 to 40 constantly, making it really skippy on my behalf.. I know there is a way to fix it, my 1998 computer didnt even do it.. :/ <_<

Well SOS stated that it could be a problem with a bunch of anti-virus programs, but I have had the same antivirus the hole time.

About a week ago I tried to start continuum, and it didnt work The hour gl!@#$%^&* showed up and on task manager it showed continuum.exe trying to start over and over, but fails to start every time. I can right click> run as, but it wont let me save anything. I tried to re-install, but it still didnt work, and now I cany play at all because it wont let me download anything, trying to download the map it tells me unable to download Zones/Extreme-Games/egpub.lvl.. so i cant even go online.. is it a virus messing with me? I use win XP, have always used it, and always have used the same firewall.. and this is the first time in 5 years that it has had any problems.. Can somone help? Thanks.
