Hello guys, girls and forum trolls (polix (just kidding)) Thought I'd stop by and see how things from the SS world are going. Its been awhile since I've gone back to my roots, SS considering how much it changed my views on life etc. Sound silly eh? A 2d game changing a kids life? Well I was 11-12 when I first played, knew little about the computing world other than bright lights and flashy explosions intrigued me. However after meeting friends I still speak to online via subspace, I became increasing curious on how I could change the world around me, programming, graphics, whoring myself out the usual stuff. Anyway thats when I went around becoming staff at zones, the usual route of being seemingly interested in an interesting zone (at that time Omniverse (now a TW map) then I began to learn how to edit stuff, "Oh look I can paint my warbird RED and play as it" then I began to look at creating my own zone (didn't last long) then I worked on Mystic Kingdom, as most of you know. Cutting it short I believe my career path (Computer Science (games development) was chosen due to my exploits in Subspace/ continuum and the people I met (yes including some of you, scary eh?) So a question to the rest of you, How has this little 2D shoot them down change your life? Regards

Yo. I was the one who asked them to review it. The magazine is a new and very popular e-mag. They are very just and won't review for the sake of just making money. I'd say let them have a go at it. Also read the magazine its a great e-mag.

Aileron, for me some of these methods have worked, you do sound very down I'd say your border line emo but then again I don't really know you I guess methods all depend on the person.

lol its possible I've woken up several times before my alarm clock.. like 5 minutes before. Think about it how did people years ago do it with no device of time? We know time very well

!@#$%^&*o all Since this is the only forum I ever bother to read I guess Ill post this here indeed. Most people refer to the human mind as a very complex computer and if this is so true has anyone ever wonder how we go about programming this computer and in what language? Getting more forward to the point I've been trying to change myself for years, how I think, feel and do things. I've discovered a variety of methods and had this chat with many a person. Some simple methods people use to program them self to do stuff is to get into a routine, not very adaptable though you need a whole routine for a new task it seems silly. Another method is to wear something, flick themselves or draw somethiing on their hand to help remind them what they're meant to do. Some methods I've found useful are below: Music certain music makes a person feel certain ways, say if I wanted to exercise more I'd play more energetic music (eye of the tiger). Music works strongly on people's emotion and can make them do something they would normally not do, a reason why its used in combination with alcohol in clubs and such. Mind techniques Now this is one I've found extremely usefull this is based of a religious belief of magic. The Hermetic Order Of The Golden Sun was originally based in england during the early 19th century. Their beliefs were based on magic was made by the human mind, some of these beliefs did go border line cult but their mind techniques are a great idea. The technique I'm using at the moment is visualizing images in my mind. You start off by creating your own room and fill it with pictures, sounds, colours and music of things you want to remember or remember to do. An example is on one side of my room which i've shaped as a white temple or church I have a picture frame with numbers in it, these numbers are to remind me of what page I'm on in a book, works pretty well. Another idea is this is I have a pallette of colours near the main part of the room. Easy colour represents a mood or feeling, when I've felt these feelings I store them under a colour and then later I am able to call on them by remember what I felt at that time when thinking of the colour. Helps when I want to fall asleep to. Also your body does know how time flows. If you want to wake up at a normal time all you have to do is think of the time you want to wake up and lone behold you should wake up around that time! What I want to know from you guys is what do you do to help program your own mind? How do you remember to do stuff?

lol the site seems way too cheesy.. lets hope its more realiable then virgin broadband

I have a bit of expierence with this. In my idea is because people enjoy not acting entirely themselves which is what alcohol does. Also red white goes very well with dinner Binge drinking is more like a sport some times guys can get competative. I remember when a friend and I did 10.5 pints in an hours Oh that was a good night. Seriously it leaves fun memories (depending if your memory hasn't been whiped clean by booze).

The trouble supporting one of these client projects is the developers aren't trying to make a second subspace but rather something they can call their own while stealing ideas from SS. They won't be nearly as good gameplay wise or the fact you can create so much with the game.

Wonder if E3 or any other place will allow us to put an SS booth up! lol
