I solved this problem; but not sure if its too late for you guys. Basically; I had installed adaware and spybot to clean up a bit of spyware i'd picked up... after that continuum wouldn't work. Ever after uninstalling the programs again (and continuum), it STILL wouldn't work for some bizarre reason. So I used Windows System Restore to go back to the day before I'd installed Adaware / Spybot (and a day i KNEW Continuum worked). This worked like a charm, and I'm able to play again now Hope that works for you too
