you have summer break from middle august till october? summer starts in june, which is why the last sbl failed. fix that. also, winter break is when everyone is in their houses playing, like right now, cause it's cold outside in the majority of the united states.. so fix that.. <3meks

so if i used a name for about 3 years, then lost it, it's impossble to get it back.. this is made for someone who uses a name then forgets it immedietly? get real how often is that? you have a 2 week grace period to lose a name? isn't it after a long time not using somthing that you forget it? this is completely illogical. ok so to my understanding its like this.. if you forget somthing because of not using it for 6 months, you can't get it back, but if you forget somthing after creating it 5 minutes earlier, then its yurs baby, all yurs.. isn't that !@#$%^&*-backwards? if someone creates a name, then gets a new computer, their screwed, or gets a new isp, how can you say that is "sound" ? O.k. the whole structure of the name retrieval set-up by mackie-man is completely unfair.. He expects the people who play subspace now, to have the same machine I.D. and I.P, as they did when they created their name? What about the players who created their names 5+ years ago? Five years ago the internet was in its newb stages, AOL ran the show and you were elite if you had a 56k modem and a 466mhz computer. The majority of us were barely getting by with a 133mhz 16mb of ram hot-shot computer. !@#$%^&* I had to honestly snap 2 wires togather to turn on my compaq with my 800x600 res p.o.s. monitor. I was rockin' COMPUSERVE email account while sitting at the kitchen table where the computer was set up. The point being, I can't get my name back cause I have a new computer, a new email address, and a new Ip adress. He quotes on his website "Rationale: By checking the IP and MID information on both usernames and ensuring a match, we can keep confusion and fraudulent claims to a bare minimum." That is completely irrational. He also says that he will not accept explinations saying that everyone in the zone knows thats their name..
