Yikes - well a reformat should solve the problem though? I had wanted to avoid that.. its a sad day when you reformat just for Subspace.

This problem started before I ever downloaded that program. In fact, AVG was intended to be a fix for the loading problem. I thought that it could've been a virus before I saw that a bynch of other people had the same problem as well.

I know that AVG is not to blame. I have removed adaware but that didn't help either.

I have none of these programs installed - believe me I've tried virtually everything.. I thought it might be a video error, but I dont think its that either. Oh yeah I have over 100 Gigs free - is that enough for a subspace level? (har har)

so is there any way to fix the bug without reformatting my computer?

I'm administrator, as are all the 'users' of my computer..

I have the error where Continuum wont load, but only keeps cycling in the process list. I fixed it by using the "Run As" command, but now when I open the game (like its the first time) and I try to download a map I get kicked (always after 8% - in any zone). This is the error I got: Error: Unable to create zones\SSCX ChaosLeague Zone SVS\bdhadar.lvl I have Radeon Omega Drivers on my xt800, which I re-installed to no avail.
