  1. This started when I put together a new machine with this video card (radeon 9800 pro 128) . My old system plays it fine. I installed continuum .38 and then the .39pr1 download. Same as I did in my old Rig. I have talked to a few other Radeon Users out there and at least 1 has the same problem on his radeon 9700. I think it has something to do with the vid card--though what I do not know. This card Plays wicked hard to run games like FARCRY a direct x 9b game real well. I have no probs except in Continuum. I use the same monitor, mouse and keyboard-- other than that my machine is all new. 2. I have up and downgraded every driver that there is to do it to, lol. Even 3 different bios revisions, thought not just for this reason I am almost convinced that SS just does not like RADEON 9800 Pro Cards, lol HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP I am about to lose a long and fun subspace career. 3. !@#$%^&*uming that this statement is not simply a setup for "Owned" I am using the same monitor that I always have for SS and it works great with my old school GEFORCE 2 GTS on SS at 1600x1200. Thanks for asking though
  4. Ok, Second Reply I tried Old Drivers, aside from making my system flaky and unstable, they did the same as the Latest Drivers in SS. Any more suggestions?
  5. I will try the older drivers but as for the frames per second -- at 1600x1200 I get 60 if i don't check the box in advanced options to free up the framerate, but if I check it I get like 420 or around that. Either way same effect no difference. I will try old drivers, but I would hate to have to break a cutting edge game to play SS. ( though if truth be told -- there is no better game than SS) Kitchen Sink
  6. Hiya, I too have the same problem with my new computer setup. DFI Lanparty Nforce 2 ultra b (Motherboard) Athlon 3000+ (400mhz bus) 1 GB Corsair (400mhz) pc3200 HIS Radeon 9800 Pro 128 video Card --not sure what else matters at this point. I have tried every possible setting in the advanced options in Continuum .39pr1 The walls and what not in the game seem to lurch and it is not smooth. Kind of feels like it does when I am lagging but I have perfect pings and no packet loss to speak of. It does not matter what resolution I run from 640 to 1600 it is all the same. Help me if you can. I have not tried another vid card yet, though I guess that is next. Kitchen Sink (though not as dangerous as I usuallly am
