  1. ohhh snap is ur avatar from deathnote...lol...wut...i rly wanna know bro :D ^^
  2. Can u guys do me a favor? I made $5000 bet that Subspace 2 will be made in 2008. Help a brother out and forget about 2D ss and focus on 3D, k thanks. Appreciate the sacrifice for me. Holla.
  3. BTW my college is hardest school ever created lol. a "term" is a little less than 3 months so projects come and go fast. After March 13th I have a week to contribute all my graphics ideas, I hope to have a few concept ships up by that time if everything goes like it should.
  4. Started college jan 7, havent started on the ships been rly busy but i just got a fresh copy of maya and photoshop, ill be uploading some concepts soon! btw, any specifications yet for polycount and texture resolution? anyone?
  5. This isn't programing related, but I'm gonna go ahead and design some of the ships now so everyone has a better idea of what they may look like in game, of course I think it wouldn't be a bad idea for other graphic artists in this project to help with this stage now also (if there are any). I'm moving from Maya & Photoshop to learn Blender & G.I.M.P so I may not complete any images until around Jan 5. Its just concept images for now, as I may have to remodel them for the game engine you create.
  6. So this engine will be able to support bump/specular maps or is it still too early to decide? I'm working on some concept images for some of the "20" ships, I may have to redo them, but for now every 3D model will be 500 or less polygons and will be in .obj format - just brainstorming some ideas for designs while you guys program, ill show u progress in another thread.
  7. I KNOW! wtf happend to my most bans award, u staff are so cheap.
  8. remember banning me till 2017 mike?
  9. ICE RETURNS!!!!!!!
  10. Lol, no man, in fact being a Christian is very peaceful and relaxing, i no longer fear death as much, and I know where I am going. Not to mention the church I go to is full of people who love me unconditionally. Just as the Bible says "Rejoice Always". You are right about many passages in the Bible being Symbolic, this is why there any many denominations, but all you need to be saved is to acknowledge that Jesus Christ died for your sins and then give your life to him. All true Christians believe in this fact that is all in the Bible, In symbolic and literal ways. Yes, i am right about history. And any evidence you piece together you are trusting that the source is true. In fact it takes faith to believe in anything that you cannot or have not verified by yourself in person. So why is it that everyone looks at me so odd-like when i say i believe in the Bible 100%? We may never know right.
  11. Tell me how your life is purposeful as an agnostic (forgive me if I’m wrong). Listen, we all want to be happy, whatever we think is good, we try to attain. There is no temptation to submit to religion, you say it as if religion is merely a delusion. It’s simply that I have found the one right path and don’t know any other way to live but through Christ. Don't want to give up logic and reason in response to fear mongers eh? That’s your choice then; death is a reality for all of us. You have a mind to think, but to believe that truth is ultimately unknowable is to me giving up too easily. By the way I wasn’t trying to scare you into converting lol, just stressing the foolishness of atheism/agnosticism. Agnostics say there is no way of knowing the truth, so when they die and are judged by that truth who will save them?
  12. 1) Pulltrip i am no where near denouncing my faith. Im some spots of my argument I am starting from "ground zero" !@#$%^&*uming parts of our faith are wrong, and then working up towards proving them FOR THE SAKE OF THE ARGUMENT. If these people don't believe our faith, im trying to work an argument in a way that does not use our faith as the explanation. 2) just stop posting, my two posts on the previous page were completely lost once you began posting again, most these people aren't listening to you, if anything your detracting from my and aileron's arguments, which are arguing the same thing as you, but more effectively. Don't ruin it. 1) In no way was i talking to you when i said that thunder, i was responding to That comment is asking me to give up some of my beliefs to come down to everyones level, thats what i meant by "denounce" my faith. Sorry for the misunderstanding, i find your posts very interesting and think its amazing how you are defending the word of God in a very logical way for everyone to understand. Forgive me for not being clear on that. 2) No, sorry i won't stop posting, thats not very fair,
  13. Without religion life is meaningless. Lets imagine for an instance that there is no God. And lets say an atheist's only goal is to enjoy life because he knows this is all hes got, so he smokes some weed, has some sex, and generally enjoys life, tries to be a good person. When he dies he completely ceases to exist. Humans die, humans are born...and life goes on for millions of years afterwards. Doesn't life seem a bit meaningless without religion. Now, if God does exist, this atheist spends eternity in !@#$%^&* separated from his creator. Either way it seems like not having religion or not believing God is a lose lose. And since no one knows for certain, doesn't it seem like its a better gamble to believe in God because the consequences are too great to be wrong. Even IF the atheists are right they will still be nonexistent man lol.
  14. ^^ K, read what i say please. This was my whole point, that if you science buffs believe that the elements that created life were just "there" then how can you think its so foolish for us to believe that God was just there in the beginning, i wasn't bashing anyone, READ....it helps. Yeah and forgive me for not being Thunder, Sorry for not being open minded enough to DENOUNCE my faith, most people actually believe in their religion though, thats what this whole argument was about. peace.
  15. If you do not bother to carefully read my posts, then please do not respond to them at all until you fully understand them. My original response was to Sama and JDS for calling the creation "trippy". My point for arguing was to attempt to explain that believing in science may indeed require a bigger leap of faith than to believe in God, being that science will never explain everything, and as a Christian, the Bible is all we need to rely on. I don't really see the upgrade there man. Please do not be ignorant and listen to my points, it isn't "You can't prove me wrong".
  16. M!@#$%^&* is a property, but what force designed this property, that is what I am asking. Science does not explain the very origins of things no matter how you look at it, the Bible covers everything by saying God created all life in the beginning. As for these laboratory experiments you have seen, it does not answer my question at all, i asked where did these BASIC elements come from. I don't blame you for indirectly avoiding the question because it is impossible to answer with science unless you make the !@#$%^&*umption that these elements were already here, it is on this belief that i challenge anyone to tell me how this is not the same kind of faith Christians have when they believe that God was always here. As far as giving you evidence, there is none in science or in the Bible. You cannot prove anything, it is a leap of faith that Christians too often get bashed for having, when you science people are no different.
  17. and where did the principle of m!@#$%^&* come from and so on to the beginning of life?
  18. Ok samp, no matter how far back you trace evolution at one point it says life emerged from non-life. Science does not explain the true origin of life. It says these elements were just already here floating around in space. If you seriously study evolution and the conditions for everything to just line up perfectly to create life...even science seems to point to some higher being orchestrating everything, the odds were completely against life. even in your precious science. In other words: Science does not tell the whole story because it has Continually failed to tell us who created these elements to form the "building blocks of life". If you believe they were just "already there", then it isn't really such a big leap of faith to believe that God was "already here" before life began and created us into existence, does it?
  19. Ok, gravity exists, most of us take gravity to be a law of science. You believe in gravity yet science fails to explain where it comes from. Take anything and try to trace it back to its very beginnings using science and you won't make it. What set in the motion the big bang? If you can believe in phenomena such as gravity, electromagnetic waves, and nuclear energy, then it doesn't seem to me a great leap of faith to believe that something created all of this. Actually it seems very foolish to deny it, yet the Bible is the only book that explains everything.
  20. Words of wisdom from Sama. You don't need religion to be nice to people, and if thats the case then would taking that religion away cause those people to be nasty and selfish? Anyway, it's quite obvious that the "Caring for your neighbour" doctrine has not taken, and we should seek to eliminate Christianity for betraying itself. Many Christians deceive themselves, out of the 2 billion professing Christians on this earth it is evident that the number of true Christians are far less. Yet still it is not right for me to judge them, only God knows their hearts. Don't confuse being a Christian with being perfect Server, all humans are tempted and all Christians struggle with sin. If no one is perfect then doesn't it make sense that Christians will mess up and sin sometimes, but you judge us only by our mistakes because you cannot see our faith, as God does. Remember: the Great Book tells us that no one is righteous, not even one, and we are saved only through GRACE from God. Grace: 4 a manifestation of favor, esp. by a superior: It was only through the dean's grace that I wasn't expelled from school. As Christians the Bible tells us that God is so Holy that there is no way we can ever win his favor through any of our "good acts" because we are mere humans constantly tainted by evil. In other words, all Christians don't deserve to be saved, it is only through God's unfailing kindness that we are among those chosen. It is a shame that many people are led astray on the !@#$%^&*umption that all Christians will automatically become perfect upon being saved, that is the goal but it is impossible to fully reach. And False Christians add to this problem. This is why the gate to the Truth is narrow, and few find it, it takes great faith despite what we see in the world.
  21. A true Christian believes every word of the Bible, although they may not understand it all at first. And yes, there are about 2 billion Christians in the world, which is the largest following for any major religion. I was comparing the the number of Christian followers to the followers of all the other major religions, not the number of Christians to the number of people on the planet .
