Okay, I'm not sure if you want to do this, but here is the solution. I believe that the problem is Service Pack 2 being incompatible with some other programs, but for some reason, this affects Continuum. What I did is I did a format. Second, I installed all of my drivers and installed Service Pack 2 (I'd recommend not installed any programs unless they are necessary until after Service Pack 2). Then, you want to make a System Restore and install the programs you want. If you install a program that causes Continuum to have an endless process, then just do a system restore (uninstalling won't work for some reason). And that's about it (I used FAT32, but I'm sure that won't matter ). Now, the two programs that I found not to work (so far), are Spysweeper and Tune-Up Utilities 2004. This way worked for me, but don't blame me if it doesn't.
