You can't make new settings if you are going to keep 1 ship the same... doesn't work like that. If you are going to keep the jav you have to make all the other ships balance around it.

If you see a hacker... First do do ?cheater A moderator should get with you. If not then you should leave a ?message to a Sysop. ( Pernille, Telson, MMaverick ) and get as much information as you can. Like a screenshot or something like that, screenshots are good pieces of information and make sure not to tamper with the images or you could get in trouble. Something will be done if you, the players, see something happening that you know shouldn't. It is always good to bring it up with a Upper Staff person. ( Kyla, Creatix, Beware, Pernille, Telson, MMaverick ).

It won't happen You need to know exactly what you want otherwise they won't sit there all day. One of you should setup a server and you can all connect to it and play with the settings yourself. You can all be sysops. If you are interested either talk to Dead On Arrival or I guess I can walk your through it.

Terrier is fine. Maybe we should change Jav, people seem to hate that more than Terriers. and newb can jump in a terrier and hold CTRL... Terrier takes skill.

No offense, but you have NO idea how many settings changes there are... If you have 1 week of pure subspace time, then maybe we could do that. Good Luck trying that out, and getting a Sysop to do it for you... lol

Terrier is good. No newbs play in it, and if they do they are killed. Terrier takes some amount of skill like any ship. I would keep Terrier, WB, Jav.

Ok, this is what should happen. Everyone on this OPD needs to have their own server. At a certain date, let's say 1 month, send you stuff to MMaverick and let him upload all your ideas. Then we go from arena to arena and figure our what we like, and what we dont. Leader will get feedback, decide what to do. Put settings together, and get mmaverick to look at them.

Sure, If you want a dead pub, let's go back to old settings! If you want a new, fresh look, more population, then let's stay with current pub. If you want to accomplish something (change something about pub) simply saying that you want it the old way will not work. I recommend you set up a pole, or you actually give GOOD idea's to staff. (Smod, Sysops) But simply saying, I want old pub back, a few hours after the new one is put up is not only stupid, but stubborn. -Tex

The only thing that we are trying to accomplish is more population in pub. Adding new minute things may help it. If you have any suggestions, we are all ears to listen, but the fact is that 17th has been losing population and we need to find a way to get it higher. Some new ideas that we try out such as the flagging is only going to help, not hurt. And please do not say,"NO", to every new thing we try. Just keep an OPEN mind. -Tex
