  1. Life or not HTF, Hakaku is right. A good analogy to compare with this is State and federal goverment. Federal is SSC who overgoes the major things. State takes care of Jails, prisons, etc. federal prison is like netban. Hakaku is referencing that the people (staff) of the small zones have it to deal with, even though it is affecting other zones. IMO a disturbance or violation that affects cross zone should be considerd a 'federal offense'. Then again, It's really confuzing on whose who and whats what and why.
  2. so the kid was on 17th again?
  3. Just add someone to take care of only the small zones (aka multiple local BangOp access (level 2 prob)
  4. Mmk, close topic please
  5. I like the angle that VIE took with their high quality shots, on i like the front facing right instead of left like vie did. So do it like that. and make the image 2x as big (no background just black or some png would work
  6. Ill just ignore Lynx entirely and assume this origionally as I did as a side-note for SSC to understand what's going on when they are offline. As a side note to the topic, I might be overally giving on info, but i give everything, and what is the problem with that?
  7. Honestly, I was just thinking you were trying to replicate the model completly with just a higher quality. I rly like it, just wanted to help you if you were making a complete replica. I like the logo makeover. Can you give us some shots of the warbird? I want it badly, and with your great model, it will be so much better than VIE's Origional. YES! I said it.. Diwa is the first guy to make better models than VIE. I want to get many shots of this warbird and a few other ships to do advertisments. As far as the nightwasp goes, It does seem hard without a quality shot or rotation, but im sure the hump will be easy to get over with alittle imagination. Im doing alot of research to look up and see if the models are truely lost atm, i will report when im fully done. If i somehow obtain them, i will not hesitate to release them here. On a side note: I think Hyperspace will not hesitate to use these models for shipsets. I kindof feel that happening.
  8. Actually i just got most of these images when i found a archived vie site. was cool.
  9. K here ya go. I think the width thickness of the bar from top to bottom is rly inverted from the origional (the middle being more uhh wide than the points.)
  10. 1) I respect PoLiX's opinion. 2) I don't care rly that he sucked at hacking, and The threats are not hacks themselves. The reason I Looked into this is when players became at risk with virus infected websites being linked up to people. That's when things get serious. 3) The reason why i even started this topic was to notify the lack of procedure, just as mike said himself. Dude why have you been so harsh on the forums lately. Take it easy man. :/
  11. lol are we shamless website advertising or him? o.O
  12. yay for 4th page! lol I want to see what that symbol looks like without it being so big around the bottom part. IMO it just doesnt look right. Other than that I rly do like it.
  13. Let's face it, There are holes in the system we need patched up. I want to hear PoLiX's opinion on this.
  14. Lol I can kindof understand... "he hates people on this game, and he liked it so since they ruined it for him he wants to do the same" kindof logic.
  15. Well i say it out of respect for the people in SSC Council who do what they can to get things done and not the ones who dont do much and are inactive.
  16. I didnt make it i supported and "tried" helping it. But yeah I was about to say.. the lower part of the Symbol should be skinny too right? I mean like the top width looks fine its just the bottom part that worries me.
  17. Im sure he can, but probably because of the ban bug you have to *kill them and no one was on sscx star warzone with *kill at the time.
  18. Oh did I post this in the wrong section? Sorry bout that. Thanks Creemy.
  19. All I kept hearing about last night was "all the netwide bangops are inactive" when a group of hackers (New Jersey, JR5, Sexual, Raazi, and "Russ" (using TWDBot2 to evade ban and actually using it to talk in-game) Hung out in 'SSCX Star Warzone' where there were apparently no active mods to handle in this zone. This all started last night around 8-10pm when russ used the name 'Programmer+' and started mass squad messaging this message, "AIMBOT FOR .40, (Link)." This link often contained reported Key loggers and Viruses that are harmful to our players if clicked on. The initial response to take care of this person was fairly quick, PoliX and Samapico took good care of these guys in SSCU 17th Parallel. Unfortionately about 20 minutes later, these guys reappeared in other zones as 'gr32323' in Chaos League Zone SVS and continued the spam. Because it was night time in the US, Samapico and PoliX had already went out for the night and were unable to take care of these guys. This hacker used a special method of contact to his group by using a TWCore copy to manipulate a 'TWDBot' (which sends messages to all squad players by squad messages) and spawned in 'SSCX Star Warzone'. Here is a except from my log i had of a message they used with their twdbot, "(TWDBot2)>Trench Wars is experiencing an attack by a group of hackers. We need you to change your password to Temp1 for 10-15 minutes so that we may protect you from any threats. Please type ?password=Temp1". Pure_Luck could only ban these guys from SSCU Trench Wars, but not take care of them completly, and had to take the extensive measure of cutting off all contact outside the zone for a period of time to temporarily resolve this matter. All the hackers could do was watch and wait from this time on. So why is this an issue? It took 3 hours to do anything to keep the hackers from doing what they did with their TWDBot2 and messages of viruses / keyloggers not by network banning but by other quick ways, which these hackers could find other ways to speak to Trench Wars, or attack another zone. So why is this a bad issue? People unfortunately are not as wise as to not open suspicious links (hence the msn virus which made big hits for the same exact reasons.) This is a very big hit on player safety, and this game is very well at keeping itself virus free, and with the good firewalls nothing should go wrong. So what is my opinion on this? I heard when I spoke to a few ban op reperesenatives to take care of the matter, they only told me that there was no one active to issue a network wide ban (which i saw needed since they kept comming back and continuing their 'scaretactics' on Trench Wars). All I heard was how inactive anyone was that could easily do away with situations like this. I do not know what goes on in SSC Council or how they deal with things like this, But I would like to know what is going on with that sparse power that could resolve problems like these much more quickly than going through all the trouble with zones like Trench Wars taking extensive measures just to keep these guys from speaking. I will post a log I recorded of the "last" attacks in SSCX Star Warzone. PoliX what is your views on this? P.S. Not critisizing SSC Council, they do their work well. (just wanted to make that clear)
  20. Looks good sam.
  21. I wish we could create a new topic for this and transfer the valuable posts.. I want this topic cleaned up rly. Call it "3D SubSpace Art" or something catchy.
  22. Finally you release it. Was waiting on it.
  23. I tried to use Maya 2009, 3DS Max, and other programs from AutoDesk, but when i try to use them on vista, they act like starting up, then i get the vista's Program error 'close program' thing and it really upsets me.
  24. I think these models are good moreso for Advertising than just backgrounds. Diwa if you need some detailed views of some of the ships, see the SubSpace Intro Video:
  25. I forget if it was L.C. or someone who tried to contact allin Juan a few years back.. did he ever respond at all?
