Ok Continuum opens chat channel for zone comes up but the game play screen will not open every time I retore it. It minimizes to task bar again any suggestions?

I played sub space several years ago and just recently downloaded . 38 and .39 but when I enter a zone to play I see text, game stats, starting bell, chat but no game just black screen . Help!
