It is a little large for a 30 person population. That map is the size map you'd see in a zone like Extreme Games....They have need for a map that size because they play some huge flagging games.... I'd cut down your map in half. Also...I have to say it...I like the speed and maneuverability of the levi..but the bomb speed SUX! you DO get a 10 for effort though!!!

Here's a suggestion about hosting small events. Why not start scheduling them too? You schedule league events well in advance. Schedule small events like speedball. If you have set times in a day or during the week that Speedball can be hosted, people who enjoy the game may be able to plan to be ingame at that time, and you find your attendance a little better. Also, this would give those who update the 17th website a chance to actually UPDATE THE THING!!! (hint hint) Just my two cents.

Once upon a time, I didn't have to keep logging in every time I visited the forum, and also, when I went to a topic with new posts, I was able to go directly TO the new post without having to wade through those I'd already read. Can we get that functionality back? :pixelsoft:

I'm sure this option has been brought up MANY MANY times, but I have yet to see it. Why not make a public 2 arena, identical to pub map now, with old ship settings? Let the zone make their choice by playing one or the other. Give it one month to make an accurate poll of usage per pub arena, and at the end of the month, use whichever ship settings the zone used most. Oh, SYSOPS, no point telling us we used to have that. 1. there was no one room that stayed up all the time, like "pub" now. Someone could type ?go oldmap and "make" one, but that doesn't exactly invite a lot of people in. 2. There would be no mods or sysops in the player-made "oldmap" room to, for lack of a better term, baby-sit. This means there is no official sanction. That, too, would not be conducive to a true poll of players wishes. I urge you guys to give this option consideration. This would stop most of the ship setting polls you're ignoring at present. I mean, come on..... you advertise this forum for players to post their opinions and help shape the zone. Well, let us shape the zone? It's obvious the majority of the speaking public want old settings. Why not consider it? I have outlined a safe way to do so. You have all your players still, give them a clear choice, use that choice to give the majority what they wish for. My two cents.

Okay, I guess after a horrifying crash that dislocates your shoulder, breaks your arms in 4 places, I guess it might be possible to lick your elbow, Akai....but otherwise, no matter if you're double-jointed, it's NOT possible. Even Gene Simmons can't do it. First you'd have to rotate your arm about 95 degrees to bring your elbow topside from it's normal position of sideways from your body. THEN, you'd have to complete rotate your arm (which is now rigid) from the shoulder to a point about a foot and a half in front of your chest to even get CLOSE to your mouth. Even if we did it where you brought your flexed arm up (flexed meaning your hand basically sitting on your shoulder and your elbow pointing down), you'd still have to pop your shoulder out of socket and away from the shoulder about another foot to get the elbow close. So, either the people who told you they can lick their elbows are lying, or were so drunk they were licking somone ELSE's elbows. heheh....

Yeah, that was Starlone.... The funny thing is, he came in the zone this morning complaining about everything and anything lag, noob, vulch, ballhog, etc etc..... Then after I hopped on as a turret to LoveWar and Atomical, he started -*BAD WORD*-ing about turrets.... Not five minutes later, he was on a turret.... I spent about an hour ragging him until finally, he yelled, "IT'S JUST A GAME!!! CHILL!!!" and left the zone.. Some people......

I couldn't think of a story using them all just once...so I made up a story using them a lot....hehehe
