Although Meals on Wheels is great and everything, it just doesn't bring in $85,000-120,000 a year. Not to mention pay for my education. Ill hopefully be doing their buddy system, where you go to bootcamp with a friend and are placed in their platoon. Im only planning on a 4-5 year service, so lets hope the next president is a good one. Ha.

My friend brought up a good point in my Participation in Government class the other day. He brought up the point that instead of trying to conserve the oil supplies in the middle east, we should've focused on finding alternative fuels so we wouldn’t have to be dependant on middle east oil. He then continued to mention that although he doesn’t believe that we should've gone to war in the first place, that since we're there already we should finish what we started. We can't just start something, spending billions of dollars, just to pack up and leave. I thought this was a great point that I just thought I would share. We both do agree however that Saddam should've been taken care of, but fighting a preemptive war is ridiculous. It's a war to stop a future war. Which doesn’t quite make much sense to me. I'd also like to bring you guys up to date on my current situation. By the end of September 2007, I'll be starting bootcamp for the Marines. I have about 8 friends joining and 1 thats in bootcamp as we speak. I think this will be a great experience for myself and my friends, and I just thought I would share this bit of info for you guys. ^_^

I happen to be prochoice. What most people dont understand that is abortions are normally given when the fetus still hasn't experienced a form of "life". I also dont see how you could think that a women who gets raped and get pregnant as a result should bare the weight of having the child. Why give birth to a rapists baby? Im not against gay couples or anything, but I do find it wrong for churches to have gay marriages. I for one do not believe in god or anything, but for churches to not allow gay couples to be married at their church is up to them. Most churches won't just because of what it says in the bible. I mean come on now, a church follows the bible as best it can. In my opinion the decision to have gay marriages should be fully up to the churches.

Quit hiding behind links and answer his question. The only reason you've tried to set up "guidelines" is because you've come to realize that without your links you have no information of your own. Dont try to play the Freedom of Speech or Declaration of Independence card on us. It wont work. Banning a player on continuum has no part in the government. You guys are trying to make it look like TT is a ruthless dictator which is funny, because TT and a ruthless dictator have nothing in common. The fact remains rules are set to maintain peace and order, if one chooses to ignore these rules they are warned, if they continue to do so on a daily basis they get banned. Spins ban is a prime example of this. You may not argee with the rules set in MG, but you have to admit that Spin broke the rules, was warned, continued to do so, and pay the consiquences. Its his fault, no one eles'. TT chooses how long he wants to ban people, for it is HIS zone and server. He pays for it, and chooses what he see's best fit for his zone. If he was to unban Spin, I think its pretty clear by Spins constant insults to TT and others who disagree with him, that he will just continue what he used to do.

It was only THEIR money that went to the business. Even free services (parallelling to the free server) like water fountains were limited by race. If the government didn't force integration, segragation would still be around today. So although you may own something entirely, when you're providing a public service (such as a public server), you may be controlled by the government. #2 Responce: Using one injustice to justify another is not a valid argument. For example, imagine we were in nazi germany, shortly after Jews were forbidden from serving in the armed forces. Someone might want to ban Jews from holding high-education jobs like doctors or professors. Now someone brings up that we shouldn't impede on the rights of the Jews, but the counterargument is that we have already done so in the past, so clearly we can invade in the rights of the Jews. It's similar to the old saying, "Two wrongs don't make a right." although your other two examples serve your purpose, the "threatening to kill the president" example does not. As far as your ban goes, I know how MG works. Ive played MG since its top population was around 15 people at any given hour. Im pretty sure I know how it works. Not to mention the fact that from my stay in MG Ive grown to know and talk with all the mods. Also not to mention the fact that Ive talked to mods about banning you. Daily warnings lead to his ban, not TT disagreeing with what he had to say.
