Wow, this is certainly a blast from the past. Im sure none of you remember me, I started playing in 1999. Played this game religiously until 2004 or 2005. I took a long break and returned to find out I was kicked out of Paladen (Trench wars squad thats still around for those of you that didnt know) instead of being added to the retired members roster, and when I kindly confronted the new squaddies I was ignored and flamed. That pretty much ended my Continuum career. This game was my life in middle school, I love it and miss the commadre I had with the players back then. I'm very sad to see the numbers of players now a days. I remember logging on and seeing 500 players in trench wars alone. But, thats the way it goes with games like this. It doesnt help it hasnt received any updates in years. To anyone trying to revive this game, that is if anyone is still trying: Stay away from facebook, as it will dumb this game down, as will mobile apps. Like somoene said earlier, you NEED a keyboard to play this game. Also, please keep in mind that you need more than just a new client to start racking in players. Consider revamping the graphics. Now, I am NOT saying to change the appearances of ships/tiles/etc, im saying update them. Make them 2012, Continuum is still living in 1990's graphics, which is probably another good reason why the game isnt gaining people. Also keep in mind that whomever may complete a client will then be responsible for updates, and that they will have to accept that responsibility. Either way, I have moved on from my SSCU Trench Wars days. Can't say that I dont occasionally think about this game, or that I dont miss playing with my old Cont pals, because I do. But I'm sure prettty much all of them have moved on too, and it's just not the same as it used to be. I wish you all good luck! O/
