Got it, it's alright. If you loved FO3, you'll love this game just because it's the same thing. No real evolution in gameplay for a sequel, but enough of a new story to still be awesome sauce. If you have not played either game and are looking to start, choose the original fallout 3 first simply because it's less buggy.

I don't believe many officials are corrupt. I would go as far as to say that the percentage of corrupt officials mimic closely to that of the percentage of regular citizens who commit major felonies. The problem lies in our republic government and their naturally divided electors. Politicians are elected into the office to closely serve the people in whom elected them, but due to the numerous divisions in our society; constituents are unable to please anyone and everyone. Very few people are in any office for the sole purpose of gaining wealth through back door deals and fucking over the average american. Most of our problems are money related and the lack there-of. Aileron runs for mayor with the promise that traffic violations are a thing of the past! Our streets will be safe and no longer will any child ever die again. He also says that my pension will not be touched in the way that the incumbant promises to do. This is awesome, I didn't want to vote Dr Brain again because of the pension ordeal, the street safety is just icing on the cake. Polix wants a stop sign placed at the intersection by his house. He goes to the mayors office and lo' and behold, theres actually very little money to do so. The administration locked up some funds before Aileron was elected and the emergency pot holes had to be fixed first and foremost. Aileron won't give up that easily, his promise is his word and something so simple won't ruin his image. Aileron contacts his congressman Yupa and asks for some funds to help out with this situation. Yupa got elected into office on his own campaign of pension reform. He tells Aileron that as long as he votes in pension reform favor, he can have that money for the stop sign. Aileron is in a tight spot now, he's going to piss somebody off with his decision. Either party is going to pin him as an idiot or liar. This is what we're looking at. People in office who are incapable of delivering services to Americans because other people in office promised different and equally valuable Americans the exact opposites. Because of the lack of appropriate funding for the things everyone wants, back-door deals are made in the interest of the people but are seen as malicious endeavors.

Hello, my name is Ducky and I've been away from the boards for a very long time. It's nice to meet you.

I've been playing open beta for awhile now and have to admit that the PC layout is lacking. Severe mouse lag and lack of keyboard remapping is hurting the experience. I switched to a controller and found my experience 100 times more enjoyable. My main concern playing a dedicated healer is targeting with a controller. It's classic Final Fantasy menu style without a cursor control. You essentially 'tab target' with the D-pad hoping you can target quickly enough to be a competent player. I suggest the game as a buy if you own a controller. We'll see in about 3 months time whether it's worth playing overall. While SE was quite innovative in some aspects (fatigue system, cross class skills) they seem to have forgotten the things MMO players EXPECT when starting a game. Auction houses, keyboard remapping, etc. I can see no reason why MMO's shouldn't have these things at default.

You need to see this movie in theaters right now. It has movie of the year written all over it. It's a Matrix/Oceans 11 breed heist movie about dreams. Dom Cobb is a skilled thief, the absolute best in the dangerous art of extraction, stealing valuable secrets from deep within the subconscious during the dream state, when the mind is at its most vulnerable. Cobb's rare ability has made him a coveted player in this treacherous new world of corporate espionage, but it has also made him an international fugitive and cost him everything he has ever loved. Now Cobb is being offered a chance at redemption. One last job could give him his life back but only if he can accomplish the impossible-inception. Instead of the perfect heist, Cobb and his team of specialists have to pull off the reverse: their task is not to steal an idea but to plant one. If they succeed, it could be the perfect crime. But no amount of careful planning or expertise can prepare the team for the dangerous enemy that seems to predict their every move. An enemy that only Cobb could have seen coming. Christopher Nolan directing (Dark Knight) Leonardo Decaprio Joseph Gordon-Levitt Ellen Page Ken Watanabe

Just like every single category of preventatives, you'll never know how well it worked.

The only problem with the Canadian system are long wait times on elective treatment due to the global budgeting that caps a doctors spending limits. Why is this a bad thing? Most people turn into hypochondriacs when they get coverage from anybody. What happens to be a sore thumb is most certainly cancer; a patient will ask for twelve different treatments for something completely inane because they "are covered" and don't have to pay for the excess. What the Canadian system does is cap that cost. Sore Thumb? You're doctor has to fix it with 7 dollars. If your MRI costs 12 dollars and it has a 1 billionth of a chance to catch something that your 6 dollar x-ray wouldn't, you aren't getting it unless you wait until next year when money isn't as tight. It makes sense to me. Probably because I've been to the doctors office twice in the past 5 years.

Which is akin to stupidity imo. I'll probably never get struck by lightning, but I still avoid standing by flag poles in a rain storm if possible.

I got it. I have good health insurance and there's no reason not to get it. I don't think it's a conspiracy anymore than lung cancer is. Just because you know 20 people who smoked for 40 years and are fine doesn't mean everyone who smokes will be ok. There's a reason people say young kids believe they're immortal and this topic proves it. Most of you that have posted have no better reason to claim than "It won't happen to me". That's obviously true; of course until it does happen to you. I've learned long ago from the obscure random deaths of close friends to not believe myself entitled to life. I get the flu shot every year, and this is just added to that. No underlying conditions, just caution. Similar to wearing a helmit on a motorcycle in a state that doesn't require one.

Pong Actually, nothing is really worth playing this year imo. Next year however is going to be an rpg bonanza. Starcraft2 Fallout: New Vegas Final Fantasy XIII and XIV:Online Mass Effect 2 Dragon Age (If knocked back again) Wow Xpac God of War III Fable 3 Super Mario Galaxy 2 Granted some of those are console, it's still insane the amount of hours I'm going to waste in 2010

Yea, Star Trek was pretty great. No, not better than Dark Knight, but up there. I still have a preference towards Slumdog this year, but Star Trek is second easily.

Other than the fact the game was free, I got sucked in by community. Community makes and breaks games. If the player base is rubbish (As humans, not skill); the game loses a lot of appeal. Trash talk is fine, and I accept it as part of this game, but the hours of bullshit people spewed over the years took its toll. When zones started peeling off from this forum establishment to make their own communities, it segregated us all as a whole. Now, instead of collectively storing ideas and speaking to strangers, you'd have to go to the zones individually. Most of us don't have time to do so. I still believe it was a horrible mistake for zones to leave a central community. The fact that the individual mentality existed was enough to disrupt the enjoyment I had playing in my zone.
