Where can I see the squads that have signed up for JWL? Also, where can I see the rosters for these squads? Sorry if this question has already been answered somewhere.

What you should do, is not rush your leagues along. You've just posted this and Signups end in a week? Why so fast? Should let signups go for at least 2 weeks to a month in order to actually get people to sign up.

The first time I was co-coordinator with a ex staffer by whos name I forget (he was Enterprise25's roomate). The day before the matches were scheduled to start he fell off the face of the earth and didnt come back until like a year later. We attempted the first sblball league a couple weeks after I helped develop it with Enterprise, maybe you werent staff here then, don't know. The second and third times, the players didnt bother showing up to their matches and there too many forfeits. I used 3 different methods for all seasons, the first one I let people make their own teams, the second was squad only and the last one I ran a actual player draft. Problem with letting people make their own teams and allowing them to be squad only, is that SBLBALL is supossed to be a "fun" event that shouldnt be taken seriously and brings in the more casual and non-league players. So by letting players stack their own team would bring down the enthusiasm of people joining the league. The problem with the draft, was that it took so long. Also, much like JWL and other events needed for captains, teams would often attempt to try and stack their teams by telling people to join the arena at certain times. To prevent this, I only allowed pre-signups for the draft and you had to be there at a certain time or you couldnt participate. Needless to say, I only got about 30 people in the draft room when we were about to start, so I /*zoned that anyone who wanted to play could go to the room to be selected. I think we almost hit a new record population that day. The draft went somewhat smoothly only to be stopped for potential cheaters (using the method above). After all that work though, no one showed up for their matches or teams didnt get along and they went bust. I'm probably the most enlightened (if not, one of) people on the subject of that event and its actually almost impossible to run a league off of it. People just dont care about it enough to take it seriously as you need no less than 12 people to have a game. Also, hosting a league where approx. 30 people actually want a league, you arent going to get a very powerful league. I think it would benefit the zone if you scrapped SBLBALL and maybe hosted a league that would help players with their Javving or perhaps host a weekly/bi-weekly elim event that would give a boost to the population. You can host the SBLBALL league if you like, I'm just saying its not worth the time/effort. You should instead host a league where you know you will get people to come out and play (JWL , SBL , RRL , Duel League , Elim League , 2v2 League, even a "Pub" League). Benefit 30 (Sblball) or 70 (all-around) players? Which one seems more likely?

I've tried to run this god !@#$%^&* league 3 times and IT ALWAYS FAILED. This event is like the gd boy who cried wolf ffs. It will fail.

You shouldnt even have been Smod in the first place, all you could do is do bots which is why they have a Dev Team. When it came to anything else, you couldnt perform, which is why people complained. Good to see you know that you cant keep it up, and looking forward to the next smod who thinks they can.

I was just on Fregon but we fell apart. The squad Weapon is a RS squad that I joined for a league there. Currently we are 4-0, and winning that league. Ive also won tons of leagues in SWR and in 17th. What do you have? Nothing. Thats, Mr. Little Boy to you. Also, If I were a squad leader I wouldnt recruit you just based on your actions on this forum. Such a mouthy little thing. Perhaps you would have better luck making your own squad and recruit people like yourself. Last thing, if you dont want your threads to be locked for flame wars, perhaps you should be less instagative.

Why would any squad want a pilot like you, who all he can do is talk !@#$%^&* and cant back it up. Granted, I talk !@#$%^&* too but I know I suck and everyone knows I suck too. Take it in strides I guess. Perhaps being nice to people would be a good start. Maybe even playing Rumbles to prove that you don't suck, or just leave. Yeah, thats it.

You said Beware had a bad at-*BAD WORD*-ude. Shut the -*BAD WORD*- up. Anyway, I think you should make this event exactly just like JWL (Give them more than 1 death.) That way you can actually have a decent game instead of randomly hitting some random prox bomb. You give them the 10 min rule so they cant hide? Then dont give them such a huge map to hide in the first place. This isnt SVS, make it 17th. Hope to see you guys in the next and hopefully IMPROVED for the better, BSS.
