i'd be happy to see that portable version you are working on made mac-compatible. be able to use it at home on my dad's mac (which i use occaisionally when im at home and require an actual computer. otherwise my Wii suffices for a little bit of browsing)

only problem is that i dont have the materials nor creativeness to make cards and or CDs... I mean, i have CD labels, so if someone could put the installer on a CD and make a label pic for me, I can make labels on CDs... I got plenty of them. Possibly even put some of the most popular zones on there so they wouldn't have to download all of the LVZ, maps, and other graphical or customized settings. So Ideas i got so far: 1) CDs with labels, and popular zones' LVZs 2) Those cards trained has (sent him an email already) 3) Continuum demo (although the convention center itself has access probably, the people LANing together will not)

Update: finally able to mount it as read/write (can i say i hate linux?) and get some stuff off, only to find that I have 29 GB of space free on my External HD....... sigh next step is to see if the vista DVD will work. If not, format the windows partition (I HAVE ONE!) and insallt XP or even home premium.

i'd love to see it but my Wii doesn't sport the latest Flash Player.... Whatever it had when the Internet Channel came out.... shitty system... too bad the 360 doesnt have a browser

Old Advertsing thread #1 Old advertising thread #2 mmm.. i figure since im going to Digital Overload in March, it would be the perfect time to pass out advertising cards or something else. let me know if you guys think this might be a good idea.

i'll try to mount it. actually it think it was listed as hdb1 and it appears that my original HD was partitioned... knoppix showed hda1, and hda2, hda1 only containing system files.

update: i figured since i wasnt able to boot that only the windows part of the HD was broken. My mom gave me a bootable Knoppix (linux) distribution CD. Booted it off of that to attempt to move all of my files to my external HD before taking it in to get serviced (under warranty till 2011) Well, good news. I was able to view most, if not all of the files (didnt even bother to look into the Windows folder)... YAY i can see my files. WELL.... wouldn't you know it, when I attempted to move my files to the external HD, i didnt have write permission... or at least the Knoppix distro didnt have write permissions. Question: Should i take my HD out, get a new one and put XP or something else onto that one, and then get that device that allows you to use internal HDs externally? Or should i get a boot floppy made (something like those old Win98 floppies) that can move the files over?

its not CoD5 CoD5 indicates they are using a new engine. All it is, is CoD4, in a WW2 setting, made by a company that shouldn't have made it. They should have left the franchise to InfinityWard. TreyArch does not do CoD well..
