I have had something sort of like that, except it just says Continuum is loaded, then 2-3 minutes later it will say an error has occured on some continuum file, but this only happens once every month. Try re-installing it ?

Actually, north is used quite alot. You just have to be on to notice it, everyone once in awhile there will be at least 8+ trying to get the flags in north, I bet if you '' INCREASE THE FLAGS REWARDS PEOPLE WILL BE FIGHTING OVER EACH OTHER TRYING TO GET THEM NORTH ''.
