He told me how in 2012 aliens will appear and give us many new forms of technology and share with us the secret medicines to end all forms of cancer/sickness, and then in 2014 they will return to fight us - they will bring us up to their level to give them some kind of worthy opponent deal.

I'd say the sun exploding in about a few billion years will be the end of humans. We're gonna go on for a long time, trust me on this.

yeah they've found plenty of strange bacteria on several rocks found on mars/the moon, but if an actual human-like lifeform visited us i'd say there was some intelligence in them, it's been reported for hundreds of years about strange sightings/visits, and the old caverns filled with drawings of tiny green men were being discovered randomly about as well (possibly many of our ancestors had encounters?)
