  1. Where did this impression of 'clueless' Obama come from? On that note, it's not like presidents these days make their own decisions :\.
  2. I'm sure this question gets asked all of the time, but I can't find an answer anywhere. How much bandwidth does a zone use? Worst case scenario? Thanks .
  3. I voted yes, and then when trying to explain why, I came to a decent contradiction: You have all of these types of 'evil' - extreme brutalities, sadism, masochism. They all seem to be related to either physical or mental incapacities. I guess I could be somewhat shortsighted, but here goes - brutality is often a result of adrenaline. There are cases of (they just happen to be in Iraq because they're recent) of soldiers listening to Ozzfest CDs while facing off with insurgents and killing much more than necessary. Both sadism, well, any sort of psychosis in general can typically be connected with either a chemical imbalance, mental incapacity, or some sort of 'environmental' affect. Dunno, maybe I'm grasping at straws.
  4. Rak'kir was named so by Jeff as a tribute to Rak'kar, who happens to be a long time SS vet. Oh, that's cool. I first saw him in Cosmic Rift, when I first started playing. Edit: Crappy emoticons.
  5. Support Vorbis (with the Ogg container) for the !@#$%^&* of it.
  6. I've wanted to say this since 2001. Dude, it's Rak'kir.
  7. Stewart* I think that Edwards is the most qualified candidate and has the best capacity for running this country - though I would like to see Obama win as well.
  8. Session Usage: 0 hours 0 minutes Total Usage: 23 hours 30 minutes First played: 6-19-2002 22:51:55 Before that it was all Sony Cosmic Rift baby, heh.
  9. I'm just curious, how would you go about doing it? Pretend that we've already designated the necessary tiles to function like we want them to, but how do they actually function? I was thinking that congruency would work simplest. The angle that the bomb is reflected is going to be 180 - 2x, where x = the angle between the ray that the bomb comes in on and the wall itself.
  10. Is it possible to mark (at least) four more tiles as special, and everything that hits them bounces off on the diagonal? That would make for much different basing gameplay (much better, imho).
  11. DVD Decrypter
  12. I have a converter on mine (SVGA -> DVI), it isn't noticeable.
  13. MS Visual C++ edition is free, and it's just as capable. Google it if you want it. (And yes, it is much better than Dev-C++)
  14. Antec has some really nice ones.
  15. This is that whole... "every chance you possibly can let us know that you use Linux..." thing isn't it.
