I did what Delic told me to do. I was lying in the middle of my room, gaunt-looking, with muscle spasms from lack of Subspace. Then I saw it. A dusty free aol 1000 hours CD. Hooray! It's dialup, so i'll lag alot. But, 17th Parallel is dying. The shipsets get worse and worse, and the real heroes of 17th leave by the dozens. I'm not sure if I should ever come back. I think you could revive it if 17th would use old sets.

I played Twin Peaks and No Mans Land. Occasionally GravBall and CTF Extreme. I never even heard of bughunt...or at least don't remember

I do listen to Ynwie Malmsteen, all though i've heard some bad stuff about his new album. Thats why I said I listen to music anywhere from Classical to Metal. I enjoy both, and Metal comes from classical. You should listen to Children of Bodom, a melodic death metal band with strong classical roots. Guitars in the band are awesome. Drums are okay. Keyboardist is awesome too. Just give them a listen

You may of misunderstood me, or I misunderstand you, or you accidently said sets when you didn't want to. I am not saying to switch the sets of the ships. The Javelin is recognized as the commando and the WB the GI, when it should be the Javelin being the GI, and the WB the commando. NOT the actual sets, just the name/rank/whatever you call it. It makes complete sense, I am not saying the jav is a newb ship. Although i definately know its a newb ship, i never said it until now

Sounds great, but you messed up on one thing. The wb should be the commando and the jav should be the GI. Think about it, as far as experience goes, the wb isn't the best beginner ship. It's a more complex ship to use than the jav, both having antiwarp and X. wouldn't the jav be the one "too raw to develop special skills or veteran abilities"? No this description is under warbird. It has a veteran abillity: X-Radar. And what does they just exist mean? The Javelin is the most commonly chosen ship, and the backbone of everyone organized team. Other than Antiwarp, which is a veteran ability while the WB start out with it, it pretty much has no super unique technology. In addition, javs are the first line of offense and the last of defense, just like real GI's. I'm not saying one is any better than the other, they both play crucial roles in victory in 17th. Just the roles you gave them are a bit mixed up.

Thank you all. As a response to Delic... I started playing SS in early 2002...a great story it was....I started playing a game called Soldat, pretty fun actually at www.soldat.prv.pl/. We got super addicted to the it, i could of sworn i got a monitor tan. Anyway I started a clan called Koth, and I told my friend about it, and instead of joining mine he made his own by the name of NINJAFISH. I flipped out. And was angered, i thought of all the potential we would have together and he ruined it all. It soon grew into a hatred for each other and our clans. We had major rivalry, we didn't talk to each other for a good month. I decided to put a whole page on Anti-NINJAFISH propaganda on our clan site. He made one too, shortly after, even though he numerously pointed out what a dumb idea it was. On the forums we would place topics in all the wrong threads, and rage on about our clans. It was true clan rivalry. In the end, judgement day came, NINJAFISH vs. KOTH. First CTF game NF 3, KOTH 2. Second, NF 2, KOTH 0. Throughout the ordeal when my forum propaganda against his clan actually started to give him a bad reputation, he begged to merge our clans. I always said no. Then I would beg, he would say no. It got big when our clan lost though... I would call him telling him we would rule the world with our KothFish clan. He denied. Koth just pretty much went downhill after that. But NINJAFISH? Well they changed their name to NWA, New World Anarchy, and beat the most respected clan, Silent Snipaz, badly....and they even learned that SS used speed hacks. SS begged to merch clans too. And NWA accepted. It then became -=Silent Anarchy=-. And for a good week, they destroyed everyone they saw, they were the true masters of soldat, and the leader was the same little dork that started NINJAFISH. After my friend realized he had went days without sleep, he just let go. Oh yeah, and then I downloaded Subspace and got hooked. And that's the story of how I saved Christmas. -*BAD WORD*-o...I am new to SSCU 17th Parallel...I have come from the far lands of SVS. One of the beginners guides for Chaos Zone claims that if you are good at SVS you will master just about any other zone. This was true until I came down to this zone. Quite a challenge it was. I love this ships, the map is awesome, and gameplay is super-addictive. As for the events? Genius. Pure genius, Especially Mothership. My favorite ship is the Warbird...with powerful bombs, speed and equipped with X-Radar capibilities it is both a tough fighter and an agile scout. Well I am Void Stalker, I am somewhat familiar with some of you such as Naedhaha and Rifleman, and am excited to meet the whole 17th community. Music I like ranges from classical to metal...my favorite bands/musicians include Bach,Slayer,Alice In Chains, Primus,Dimmu Borgir, Karl Denson, Mediski Martin and Wood, Immortal, Children of Bodom, Opeth and much more. I play the b!@#$%^&* guitar and am in a band by the name of "Feast". This band pioneers the underground metal scene, we have invented our own genre called "Culinary Death Metal". Its too hard to explain. Its more of a joke, but thats okay. Hobbies of mine include staring at antpiles, painting, making music, starting cults that worship puppets and others. That summarizes a good amount of the stuff I do...well -*BAD WORD*-o everyone, just want you to be reconized with the person behind that noob warbird pilot.
