I don't think there should be a time limit. Suppose you go afk in a safe... or fall asleep. Then your ship falls out and everyone preys on it. Not a very nice thing...

You REALLY want to fix that stupid rec of yours, don't you? 6 deaths ISN'T all that bad, y'know. Recs serve to impress, and the majority of the population wouldn't care if you had a high rec. They'd think you did as several did before: Shield, super, and blast off!

This event transpired pre-reset. It was my VERY first kill in this zone, to be exact.

Or we could stick to D1st0rt's multi-purpose bots. In other news, SharkWars failed to make it as a viable event, and Hamsterdam is a GREAT event. You should host it more, Funk.

First, it's only 101bty for a 1bty to get 1000. Second, a shark only has 5 bty. Third, a lucky jav with prox in a pub filled with 1btys can get a heck of a lot of kills pre-reset.

Shark actually has the maximum energy and recharge settings for the shark. It's just got poor energy, just like a Warbird (except moreso). Though... bounce would be mighty useful... Or maybe we could replace the repel with a burst...

I'd say never piss off a mod in the first place, especially Bobo. Second, the discussion of how easy it is to earn money can be found in the "Ball" thread under the "Zone Development" board. People who beg for cash, read it. Hopefully, you can read better than you can earn money...

Here's my two cents... HOST MORE EVENTS, PERIOD! Whenever I see a mod, most of the time they're hanging around in spec, doing nothing. Otherwise, they're outside flagging. The only mod I see that tends to do events often is D1st0rt, and he tends to log on once in a blue moon. Granted, events might be occurring when I'm not logged on, but when I am, I see one event per month outside of anything D1st0rt hosts. We should also have more unique events. Every zone has trivias and races... but how many have Funk's ANGRY GOALIES? Or THE BUG'S CRAZY WORD GAME? We need more events like those...

Frankly speaking, everyone seems to see money as hard to obtain. Everyone's either 1btying, flagging, or balling for points. After the reset, did I 1bty? Nope. Flag? Nope. Ball? Nope. How much money did I get? Enough to get AntiDeath. It really ain't that hard to earn money, just shoot people. It's really not that hard to get the ball out of a base. It's like getting flags out. People manage to do that, don't they?

A WHOLE lot of people don't, scar. Few people do it. The frustration of several vets at newbs who don't brick is proof of this fact.

Actually, most newbs I see these days can type better than Dav. It's the vets that are learning from him.

The sad thing is, most people who would think to listen to your advice will either fail to pull it off, or already know how to base properly... that's the problem with help these days... everyone takes advice for granted.
