If you can honestly say that you've performed a CLEAN install on your hard drive to attempt to solve this issue, it's about time to start ruling out software issues. I would run a memtest on your RAM just to be sure, especially considering the age. Does anyone know if this can be an issue with his version of Windows? Not sure of the language, but maybe it's an incompatibility? Just saying.
