  1. Money's fine, basing ball is bad. Recapping suggestions: No priv. Freq, better yet, No Vets allowed. Decrease ball time. Wider ball pick-up (goalie) Decrease prox.

  3. It's the facts of life. There will always be greedy evil lame dumb-!@#$%^&*es. This is what the staff wanted. They are one of them too. If you don't like it you just leave. Angery or happy. 1) decrease prox 2) No private freqs
  4. Thor-storm is unbalanced, and also in terms of cost. Newbs don't have repel storms, and have no chances of harrasing a thor'er.
  5. With the introduction of such a novel item as thor storm, another annoyance have yet agian surfaced. Perhaps this is really hindsight. The proximity of thors and the jav's bomb should be reduced.
  6. Well... that why there are the Elites, the ancient ones that stalks all of subspace just to smite their inferiors. Thats about all they do now a days... It will be closer to .75% Elites then. theres like 200 ppl in db. *shrugs*

  8. Otherwise what? o_O With the beta map as it is, very little can be done to stop people from dropping flags into the unreachable outside. Specially in the warper box. It would be better if there is no safety tiles at all. A 4X4 spot in the middle would be better-er.
  9. With the new map... flags can get dropped in the warpper box. Why the -*BAD WORD*- would there be space tiles if it were a safe warper? (warper box-the one with numbers, space tiles, ones that you can shoot from)
  10. Killing runners are a problem. : / When flags drops, there is a brief priod of time that the opposing team can take it. I don't know if this time can be set, but I've seen zones where this time is quite long. Maybe the flag drop time can be decreased to like 230, and this vulnerable droped time be 30. And this have nothing to do with newbs. *shrug*
  11. Someone said something about shark should get prox. Dunno how that would help newbs understand how the game goes.
  12. :wtfwtf: The compacity to lame is proportional to the faults in the game's setting and map. Namely the wormholes in sector 5. Lamers like VampZ could just run in and out of them untill his flags drops. Unless the wormholes are there as a symbol for HS lamers, what the -*BAD WORD*- are they doing there???
  13. I am increasing concerned over the economic of HS. Due to the combative nature of this game, the economy is in an unhealthy state. It had left too many kids scared, and bittered. It doesn't have to be this way. Money should be proportional to the work that is done. May be the newbie can be miners are something. Make the goal a maze or something so tedious only a newbie would do. *shrug* Well... I guess theres no stopping the Vets from owning at everything, because they are 'so smart'. It's not nice to be greedy. It's good to have a challenge now and then.
  14. Of the 193 or so players that have entered HS, less then 10% of them are vets. If not vets, these few had a clue what is going on (sometimes). HS has a capitalism dictatorship. This means if your are not a vet, you are not going to make money. Your attempts will be in vain, you will have very little money for a very long time. You are a newbie, it's hard life. Money represents an effort. It takes skills to make an effort. Is it frustrating when however little your effort is, however long you try, all your effort amounts to nothing? How can you fight a whole team of veterans? I don't think one veteran team can defeat an other entrenched veteran team. I'll pay an 100k to see that. Theres alot of balancing issuse that have not been addressed, and so I humblemubly offer suggestions: Force veterans to be on the same freq as newbies. Limited by flag pts or something. Selling items return 75% of money. Most veterans have maxed ships anyways, most newbie makes mistakes in buying things. Make a manual explaining the zone. F1 meun sucks.

  18. If thats the kind of game you want. I have no problem with it. Base ball killing is a form of defence, what is there to deny but your ignorance? However it may be lame or illegal in your view, it's purpose in the stated reasons are for defence. The analogy was to illustrate that rules are never straight forward, and varies depending on the enforcer and situation. I am sorry that I am so hard to comprehend, I am only a small child after all. -_-' well in this case they are in a safe and your unable to beat someone at all unless you ball kill the guy. This just an annoyance that can be do with out. I will state agian: Respawn ball every 10 minute if not goal or not. Make balling worth a little bit more. Balance the screwed up game. Walls are dead locks.

Rules are flexible, as much as the enforcers are. I found that Nike's view on this rule is, unorthodox. Just like how every politician comes out with a view stand, Nike's view has voiced her. The public has a choice to share that view or not, and respond according. That is if the mod system is republic at all. If you can all bare a moment and think about how the ball-killing rule is enforced by Nike and colleaques, you'd think it's stupid too. I am not mature, screw you.   22. Ninja, you tried too hard to sound smart. The re-*BAD WORD*-edness was implied toward a certain mod who may disagreed with the stated reason. This certain mod believes that ballkilling is out right illegal. Note "if" and "may" means that HS is not re-*BAD WORD*-ed. Stupid zealot... The interesting thing is, there seems to be a short delay, or some kind of detection that let ss know someone is AFK or not. As I've ball-killed someone who is supposively afk and not moving in sector 6's central safe. Moving back to an accommodate an enemies is stupid, in flaging every inch counts. The choice of base is aside from the point. The point is to tell the certain mod that she shouldn't be a mod if she can't decide if ball-killing is legal or not in base. Special module wont be needed if you can just ball-kill the baster. This depends on how it is determined that a player is active and would pick up the ball in the safe. Otherwise, a no anti-warp in center and safes-module would be nice.
  23. Ball-killing in Spawn Area/Main/Active safes are illegal. Reason: Safes are for AFKs. If people are allow to Ball-kill here, it would defeat the point of "safe." Ball-killing in Base enterance/pit points/just sector 6's safes. are legal. Reason: Safes enable trojan attacks, spread the frontline out. Safes are for friendly AFKs. Ball-killing would defeat trojan attackers, and minimize the frontline. Friendly AFKs can serve as backup. If people are not allow to ball-kill in these safes, it would disrupt game play. A player will out wait the controling freq, a threat that will increase game time and must be eliminated. The effort in trying to ball-kill someone in these safes are proportional to the threat of a nme in safe in base. Don't you mods read the great book of guildlines of subspace? Every zone has a simular rule, and it's reason are valid. If your going to say HS is special, I'd take it you meant re-*BAD WORD*-ed. (NikeGurl. :muhah: )

    Freqs do form and succeed in taking ball and flags from a Priv base. I recently has such a experience and it was better then I expected.A bunch of us average (ie not so -*BAD WORD*-y) aces stormed them yaks and won three games in a row. All the while owning ball goaling. If people arn't into taking down a nme freq, it's not worth attacking at all. Go somewhere else. Life is about moving on and ignoring all you mistakes. Having the ball circulating is the quickest way to rasie jackpot. Teams that hordes the ball in their base to lure people are stupid in their quest to rasie jackpot. Different strokes with different folks. Very specially different in a 'gifted' way. Free the ball.
  25. Well namely Kirby tend to neut flags one by one in the middle of no where and then he comes in late at night and wins. Thats why I suggest that flags must be dropped, and neut flags go back to center. Quickwinning=bad/evil/hitler n/m... this is stupid. Just look at Extrem Games (the most bleater example for basing) Perhaps people are just teaming flag ASSS in hs. Not sexy.
