i didnt say the exact map and settings from friday as for shipsets i dont use zone graphics or sound, i customize some things myself but its not subspace unless its subspace. unless you have input other than and more intelligent than 'it blows' im pretty sure we've heard all we care to from you.

i think pub needs a new map, but i think changing the settings is too drastic, it'd alter the gameplay of leagues too much, i dont think itd be right for a league to be different then what the regular player would be used to. I'd like to see bases which are more elaborate, maybe even a cross between the soccer game and flagwars, goals and flags in each base, the object being to have the most points at the end of the soccer game. So even if you score all the goals to win, you could still lose if you dont have flags. That's my two cents

I'll give it a try, but won't i get a "you need to have continuum .3x to play" message, or with that only appear if i get the right password? *edit* Didn't work, it must be on the server end. I went back to continuum and couldnt log on with that either after trying only with ss *end edit* -Pacman_12

rofl! I'm never gonna crack my old password when continuum locks me out for hours on end for attempting to log on with the wrong password. It's days like this i miss the old SS client Also i left a message for SvS, hopefully he'll take a look here too, id hate to explain it all again. -Pacman_12

It is the same computer, but ive had 3 different cable modems and 2 different versions of windows within the time elapsed, so i wouldn't have any clue if the IP's match. I'd have no idea when it resets, it may have already and someone could have taken it, which would explain my having no clue what i used for a password, but i wasnt aware that names reset like that. Not to mention the ?squadowner Coma Knights command produces -*BAD WORD*-s Knight. Seems like if names reset squads would too, but i dont know how that works. None of my other names have ever reset - Pacman_12 Sicion Cytopuse Chaos/Control Pacman <17th> and probably a few more i can't think of right now... -Pacman_12

This is kindof a longshot, but i have a character name that i'm trying to recover but i cant remember the password for the life of me. I was wondering if there was anyone out there who would have the ability find the password for it. The name is: -*BAD WORD*-s Knight I'm sure even if someone could do it they wouldn't since theres no way to actually prove the name is mine, aside from my word. What i can tell you is that the name originated in SFSS Star Wars and its first appearance on the SSC servers was in Death Star Battle. It's the owner of a squad called Coma Knights on the SSC servers, a squad i was originally on 6 years ago on the sfss server (my third squad ever actually, second in sfss star wars) which was created by a player named nerv. This name was later used on the squad Minions2G, owned by -*BAD WORD*-s Minion (A friend of mine IRL who is known as Krash *17* these days). This name has never been used by any continuum client, i stopped using it before continuum was concieved really It'd be nice if it could be recovered but im doubtful. But then you'll never know if you dont try. So i'll keep trying to remember any passwords i used to use to see if i can get it. Thanks Pacman_12 P.S. I'm back to 17th after a very long break, and i must say that these settings are very familliar, i kinda like it. My only fret is with the javelin recharge rate. It's too slow. Id rather have a slightly slower jav (wb speed?, maybe even how it was before) for quicker recharge. If its more than one on one (unless its two worthless excuses for moving targets) you'll die, flat out. May as well never go in a base Thats my only comment, i dont really play with the other ships.
