Hi this is Kwisatz - I like the flags being in west + east v good move indeed! About the ships that havent changed - jav and shark - nothing wrong there. Now the changes i will give u problems as a terrier player only. In previous sets the kill was more reliant on personal skill, not ship having obvious advantages over another....unfortunately the new sets are restricting this somewhat. For example - warbird v terrier - old sets the terrier had bomb rate + speed advantage, while warbird had maneuv (if not speed), bomb prox and 350 more health than terrier - this means as a terrier i keep a safe distance and fire my bombs so they (being faster) hit the warbird while i dodge their bomb...unfortunately with the new bomb speed this advantage is non existant, and means that warbird is impossible to kill in terrier - dont give me any crap on this ive been killing warbirds for years i know how its done...so i can tell u when i cant even beat newbs in warbird....I would advise that if this fast bomb was gonna be allowed the health or gun rate should be brought even lower so terrier (and other ships) could get in close and have a gun fight not bombs...but this is for vile to think about. spider - i like if bursts i think should be more inbetween 2 extremes maybe i dunno weasel - i like idea of mine...but with current lag problems it is impossible for me as terier to hit a dodging weasel...either sort out lag and try sets again...or change weasel...i like the mine, guns are a bit wrong - more work on these vile and u might have something like a good weasel - i liked old small weasel - so maybe a way of incorporating that idea ?? lancaster - worrying here erm samapico managed to hold a base on his own with bounce, i am always not happy with bounce...becos i feel it lowers the quality of fights massively - i like a good base fight which carries on and is hard skill rich quality fighting - at the moment a single lanc with faster ( i believe yellow bombs with full shrap and bounce annihilates attacks) do something to bounce or lancaster - also lancaster weakness was its guns..the idea that u got up close to it to kill it- this is no longer possible.....or to give chase i suggest reducing to one mine.... ty thats all hope it helps

im sorry mav although i would love to believe that this thing doesnt cause lag....as soon as i downloaded it everything started to freeze for a half a second every few seconds....i know other people who are now experiencing this....it has to be down to that new thing in the centre....if possible can we have it without that but still so everyone can type !top100.....we dont need things that cause lag...u might have a great connection but some of us dont...and it really is havnig an impact...can we please just not have it....and send a green message saying to view scores etc type !top100..... ok thats all....(its a lovely idea but it does cause lag...)

well i find shrapnel very handy...but u fortunately it takes ages for me to collect maximum...which is very dull.... you see some ships when they get shrapnel it goes up by 3 - (lev,wb,lanc) but others (jav, spider, terr, shark, weasel) it takes ages...because its only worth one.... so can we either have more shrapnel greens or everyone starts with half their shrapnel or something cos its really dull flying around for the shrapnel which doesnt exist. Also can we have random shrapnel back where it flew in strange directions i think its more pretty and more realistic....thats all really -ReCoiL!/Valkyrie

ReCoiL! just heard the news of the battle between the Katanis and the Terran....a strange occurence...because neither fleet had any reason to be their.....ReCoiL! flipped the ship over and switched on the ZTT drive....arriving there momentarily.... Using the sensors....he could sense all the wreckage nearby...and could analyse what ships were what....or what was left of them at least....Then he picked something up...a lone bio-sign someone was still alive...it was a junior Terran warbird pilot... ReCoiL! pulled up close and let the survivor aboard through the airlock....and soon ReCoiL! found out about how Mr. Blake the terran officer had been working alongside the SE and had just then turned against them when the fleet battle had commenced....He also said that his carrier the Seriph had been somehow captured by some SE but....he doesnt know how...they were all locked up... ReCoiL! then realised that he would have to find Mr. Ious and help him get all the main sides in the galaxy work together...this was too big for one side alone....this weapon could not fall into the hands of the SE it would unbalance the already unstable conditions between the main races.... He quickly went back to the 17th parallel bar....to find Mr. Ious looking for him..there he informed him that he needed to tell all the sides...and warn then to make them work together....while he would investigate a recent battle in deep Terran space on the 6th planet in Sol....apparently there was an underground there....

each ship has special techniques that can be honed.....to my advice is choose one u like or suits u....and work on it...dont flit between 2 many ships..... if u wanna work on your aim....try terrier....basically u will be able to use any other ship after that....some ships have bounce....which is very good for defending... if u get ur aim, and ur techiques....then ull be fine...and work on a single ship...learn who is good/bad and devise ways of using your ship to beat them....some ships are good against others...and not good against a different ship...but one of the best things this zone has is that if ur good at a ship...anybody is a target really...as long as u attack them in a right way.... also remain calm...as soon as u turn to suiciding madness...people will u kill u easily...always keep focused....

ReCoiL! was sitting in Manus' bar waiting....just waiting to see what was happening...maybe he could find more off Mr. Ious but he didnt know where he was at the moment....so he was stuck here....no leads to follow and not sure what side he was on....so he sat for hours stroking the soft tissue under Zaranths mouth...and making her giggle with pleasure....then he asked her to teleport them to the ship....he thought he might take it for a spin...see what it could do...he hadnt had a chance yet anyhow...

(ooc) im hugely confused hehe so pardon me if this is wrong lol ReCoiL! suddenly felt the base screech and jerk....and felt this part of the base heave away from the other....this have had their ships on at least.....therefore he led the group of attackers back to their ships....but what to do then? The S.E. had been wrongly treated....horrifically treated....but they shouldnt start killing millions of Ithkul....and what about after that? Can we be sure they will stop after the Ithkul? "I dont know what everyone else thinks, but im not sure what to do....i suppose we should ask for the other half of the bases surrender and capture Aileron....but im not sure..." "Lets just capture it......get this fight over with anyhow" A few minutes later the S.E. had surrended.....with no shields and most of their turrets and fighters destroyed.... the Ithkul fleet arrived and suddenly their were several explosions....destroying on light cruiser...and heavily damaging another....am minefield!, they hadnt noticed that around their half of the base..they thought they were escape pods...! After this the Ithkul demanded that Ailius ne handed over....they were answered by a wet behind the ears captain who meekly said that he didnt know who they were talking about.... Therefore the long and lengthy process of searching the base went underway...only to find that he was not onboard and must have slipped out during the fighting..... By this team ReCoiL! had returned to the 17th parallel bar to think....and have a drink.

(ooc hope thats sorted....sorry i was just trying to make a way of being able to give chase....i think its only the time-travel u dont want....the ship specs are ok...they are like temporary shields in a way....) ReCoiL! had been wondering why the heavy guns of the Second Edge hadnt been firing....but then he sensed them powering up..., the Ithkul fleet had arrived and was slowly approaching the base, firing everything....the last ship in the fleet had antiwarp on....ReCoiL! could feel its huge power filling nearby space....suppressing it....He knew exactly what the S.E. would go for....hmmm options and time were running out So many waves of S.E. had attacked the flotilla of fighters, but they were all veterans and had fought in many battles.....only vets came from Manus' bar, and were fighting back hard against the odds....ReCoiL! needed to get aboard the base! "This is ReCoiL! calling all friendly fighters in the vicinity....follow me im gonna punch into their docking bay!!!!" "Gotcha....covering ur arse man...." With this having been said....ReCoiL! flipped the ship over...and went straight for the docking bay....firing everything in front of him....taking 3 Wyverns out of action....and blasting a light support ship apart using the ion beam....then accelerating faster and faster...pushing the ship to its structural limit....he fired everything the ship had at the shields covering the bay...and made at least 15 bomb hits and masses of L3 gun fire rippled along the shield..... Then taking the shields he mentally thought about blasting a beam forward.....he occured seconds later....then he thought about bending the shields into a cone around the front of the ship....making it into a ram.....the shields glittered with sparks.....then suddenly.... *Flash....Boom* The Farstar ReCoiL's ship punctured the bay shields making the emitters explode in a wave of sparks....then demonstrating the ships incredible control of the gravity forces he made it come to a dead stop...without even feeling the G-forces....and hovered....firing bombs at the inner gun turrets.....then landed* Several other ships followed him and the more.....until there was at least 25 ships inside..... *BOOOOMMMMMMM* they all looked out of the bay door to see the base fire several multicoloured bombs at the last Ithkul cruiser....making it disintergrate in a shower of sparks...the shockwave....knocking nearby ships away...... *Bling* the station went into ZTT jump..... Several soldiers appeared from a blast door....but were blown apart in a red cloud by a L2 bomb fired from a nearby warbird....piloted by a lady... Everyone was collecting their weapons and getting out....ready to attack the base....they must find the engine room! "Everyone follow me....with several drones above his head....and his neural linked Xbow in his hand....they all followed him in through the blast doors....they were met by another wave of soldiers....but ReCoiL! fired a bolt at the first man....hitting him in the eye....while the rest were filled with a combination of beam/plasma/ballistic/fire weapons of all different sorts....the group was unstoppable.....they found a map on the wall and it showed them were the engine room was but they were suddenly met by heavy resistance....static gun platforms...and several defense androids....ReCoiL! kicked down a grate nearby....and went into a ventilation shaft leaving the others to deal with that problem....He crawled for 3 minutes his arms feeling the pain...until he was a above the massive ZTT driveroom.....it was lightly defended in here....because they thought it inpregnible.....but then ReCoiL! targeted one of the core-control devices nearby with an homing RPG bolt....comtrolling it using the neural it exploded and gases started to leak...everyone turned around....and started yelling that the ZTT drive couldnt hold out much longer.....then ReCoiL! jumped down...and several drones came after him having followed him through....then all started firing....at the several targets that turned around to see the handsomely strong man before them with a Xbow pointed at their heads..... "Cease Fire!!!!" "You shut that drive down now!!!!!" One of the men went to the controls and turned the drive off...the rumbling falling.....the ship slowly being pulled back to normal space.... A speaker in the wall suddenly erupted...... "What the -*BAD WORD*- are you doing get that drive back online!!!! This councillor is mad....he has already killed the commodore.....HURRY UP! with that ReCoiL! fitted an RPG bolt onto the Xbow and fired at the speaker....it created a large shriek and was silent.... The blast doors to the left opened suddenly....and the other group plunged inside...only to find ReCoiL! with the prisoners..... Moments later the flotilla of little fighters erupted nearby to the base.....their ZTT drives only needing minutes to charge...whereas the cruisers needed at least half an hour for a small jump.....The fight was still on...but now the base had its huge turrets firing....

ReCoiL! takes the chip from Zaranth who took it from Mr. Ious and teleported onto his ship.....he placed it into a space to the right of the console....and it was brought to life by the ship..... ReCoiL! could feel a heightening of his senses through the ships and suddenly 3 ships were infront of him....Wyvern class.....they were fast....but not fast enough..... ReCoiL! would let them think they had the upperhand on the speed though for now...and only engage his antiwarp to pull them out of the ZTT jump when they get to their secret base.... With the fleet of small fighters behind him....ReCoiL! kept informing them of where to jump...until eventually the 3 Wyverns pulled out of warp..... ReCoiL! turned on the antiwarp.....the fight was on.....he quickly supspaced the co-ordinates to the fleet of fighters 20 seconds behind and the Ithkul cruisers 4 minutes behind.... The 3 Wyverns were heading to the huge base ( ooc i dont know if its an asteroid/whatever, your choice Ail), on his ships sensors, ReCoiL! could percieve hundreds of ships large and small around the base....all of the Second Edge.... Some massive capital ships were turning around...to bring their massive turrets to bear....but ReCoiL!'s immediate worry was the 5 fighters approaching.....Turning on the the Anti-Bomb shield system....ReCoiL! charged right through them...dodging some shots with the terriers incredible speed and maneuvrablility....Meanwhile he fired the rapid fire L1 bombs, and L3 guns across the side of 2 javelin class fighters.... punching through their shielding using the modified bombs... and ripping them apart...exploding into sparks and debris.... Using the ship with this new system was like being in the hands of a lover....precise and responsive...flexible...the ship and ReCoiL! joined mentally....together fighting and calculating....one being..... ReCoiL! mearly thought of targeting the ship to his 4 0'clock with the new shield beam...and then suddenly raw energy from the gravitics was plunged into the shields and suddenly a bright blue beam cut through a warbird, destroying it instantly in a strange blue explosion..... *Bling**Bling* - the entire flotilla of fighters arrived....and crashed through a second wave of Aileron's forces..... The fight was on. ****If you could please edit this and your previous post, taking into account that the whole time-travel thing didn't occur****

ReCoiL! was in his docking bay with Mr. Ious when there was a loud explosion followed by several screams from the bar....ReCoiL! get out his Xbow, and made sure his defense drone was turned on and then pulled out his dagger.....running into the bar he noticed several dead Ithkul agents......and rubble being cleared away by some robots.....the hole in the back wall already being repaired... He swore thinking of his ship and his limited options.....then suddenly he had an idea....He had a untested terrier back at his home on Earth.....an experimental one....which had all of his ideas already built and ready.....just waiting.....the problem was how to get it here.....he knew his firelizard was able to put a claw into his shoulder and teleport him out of fights....but he wasnt that large and it was never that far.....could she teleport all the way to earth....and bring a ship here? ReCoiL! thought about what he wanted Zaranth to try....and a few seconds later she disappeared.....slowly they walked back to the docking bay....ReCoiL! was worried....the bond between him and Zaranth was strong.... When he got there he found a new terrier....fully armed....and sparkly in the bright light of the bay....but on top his firelizard alive, weak, and unconcious....He picked her up....and took her too the bar.... "She likes just about anything....especially spaghetti bolognese and milk though....please take care of her ill be back soon" ReCoiL! stepped onto the finished article.....after living a month in 5 minutes....he was now ready to chase after this criminal...and now he had the tools to do it with.... He placed his hands on the outlines of the console, and where his hands were placed seemed to turn soft, and velvety, and they sunk in. Looking at them however they were on the surface. Yet to the sense of touch it was as if the desk surface had given way, and as if something was holding his hands softly and warmly. Then the connection with the computer was established, and their thinking merged. He saw the room....and outside....all the surfaces in perfect clarity....his senses heigtened through the ships own...He knew that to control the ship, all he need do was use his will. He then detected the universes magnetic field.....and the tiny electrical charges on the hull of the ship....its new power source - Gravity.....it was the same gravity drive used by sharks...but improved and modified for the terrier....now this ship had an unlimited supply of power....and had the most perfect control possible....no ship was faster or more manuevrable... He then used the ships own systems to check the new plasma bomb launcher....that could now fire and produce plasma bombs at 0.25 bombs per second....The new system drew high-energy plasma from the ships gravity drive....and vents it into a small magnetic containment sphere mounted aboard a direct fire missile. Upon impact with the target the bomb's containment sphere ruptures and releases the near-fusion plasma into a single massive burst.....devastating to both shields and armoured hulls..... But the greatest thing of all was the new shield optimization system....firstly combined with the computer and its targeting systems....it could detect all incoming fire...and redirect the shields to pump all their power against each individual impact....making the resultant damage 1/3 less....than with average shields....Even multiple cannon shots could be optimized against.... Also using the same targeting system, energy could be dumped into the shield array...and blasted...much like an ion beam at incoming bombs/ships....this new technology could prevent the massive damage caused by L4-7 bombs.... ReCoiL! now ready for battle used the new gravity drive the zoom out of the station....followed by a flotilla of other fighters....all wanting to sort out Aileron for his horrific crimes....sending a subspace signal to the Ithkul cruisers in the nearby sector they informed them of the fleets plans...to chase the Second Edge terrorists back to their base..... All at once hundreds of ZTT drives made successive jumps *Bling**BLi*BLi**ng**BLing* The chase was on! ****I think Time travel comes under the !@#$%^&*le of superpowers. Sorry.**** (o.o.c sorry about the length lots to do...and i was enjoying myself which is what this is about)

(ooc i was considering u a villain anyway but this just calls for some arse whooping ...mind u im out of action for the minute) ReCoiL! looked up at Mr. Ious, and looked into the androids eyes....they seems to beam at ReCoiL!....he thought about it then asked the android to take a seat.... a) he needed to catch up with events... he needed help to establish these new designs and the android would speed things up.... c) he might have a spare memory chip hiding in the cargo hold While cupping the fireshot in his hand....and his body heat was making it glow surrounding his face in golden light...he asked the android to take a seat.... "Your the guy looking for a memory chip arent u?" "Well i might be able to help you out, and i could kinda use some help with my ship....even though it is a personal thing ship repair, I need to get back up and running..." After a while a monitor in the corner of the bar....suddenly made a loud noise making everyone look at it.....there was a silence followed by anxious whispers as everyone realized the terrible news that an Ithkul medical colony had been attacked by a bio-weapon..... and then there was a picture of the ship used by the attacker....it was a nightwasp..... Then someone amongst the crowd shouted and ReCoiL! picked up the words "....that -*BAD WORD*-........gonna........pay.......", many in the bar were shouting agreement.... ReCoiL! said to Mr. Ious.....come with me.....i need a ship.....

After several hours....ReCoiL! had repaired enough of the ship to allow it to use the ZTT drive....after that....he piled all available power from the Fusion Torch Generator into the drive....until fully charged......then powering up his terrier he flys to a safe distance from the asteroid...... *Bling* ReCoiL! now being only 5 minutes from the station, instead of the 9 hours previously docks in the main landing bay.....very slowly....due to the bad condition of his ship..... He then requests that it be moved to a secure landing bay.....so he can do some personal modifications to it....to bring it up to date so it can compete with some of the new classes of ship around....but these he will do later....he needed to order in some materials and devise a way of adapting some of the technology to his terrier.... Firstly though to see Manus and his wonderful bar.....walking through the front door with Zaranth the firelizard on his shoulder....and all his weapons....he casually walks to the bar....and asks for a Gavornian FireShot.....focusing his steely-blue eyes on Manus, and ignoring everyone else in the bar.....

omg u mean that information on the sign is right....-*BAD WORD*- it is...where can i get this firebird and will it affect my internet performance?

ok i was aware of that problem...and and i dont mind everyones choice....its fair....manus is right...it would be scary....having terr-levi... erm rice? what ship u use now then u always use shark dont u? and why the sudden change

ReCoil! was spinning out away from Manus's old station when he regained conciousness and felt physically sick..., the gravity generator was out of alignment...and was playing havoc with his senses.... He forced himself to focus and regain control of his ship, glancing around he started to feel the ship try to regain a connection with him....but he noticed the neural linking technology had been damaged....he was forced to do everything manually....pressing a few switches he noticed the following - Shields - 250/1400 and rising.... Port Engine - Offline Starboard Engine - 23% efficiency Multifire - Offline Life Support - minimal at 24%... AutoRepair drones - unknown/!@#$%^&*umed offline Guns - 40% damage capability Hull Integrity - 78% Bomb Cannon - 5 bombs ready....production rate - 0 Antiwarp generator - Offline Sensors - 23% max range Neural Link - offline Fusion Torch Drive Generator - operational (thank god) RRT drive - uncharged, but operational Laughing ReCoil! felt Zaranth flew onto his shoulder and look at the displays, then she flew and hit her nose off one of the keys highlighting a nearby asteroid......and then pressing another key with her arm...showed to tiny dots on radar flying away....very faint.....well things could be worse..... He stopped the ship spinning and started to crawl towards the asteroid....maybe could do some repairs there? (o.o.c) thats a bit cheeky aileron
