  1. Thank you! These bigger and brighter bombs and bullets are working well on my custom res.
  2. I was always wondering why direct bomb doesn't do full bomb damage plus the damage of all the possible shrapnels. It didn't really hinder the game, but was just really odd and bad design, like Pistol pointed out.
  3. The vast majority definitely live in North America, but the overall population being what it is, I don't think Subspace can survive losing its European player base either, which probably represents something like a quarter. Most Europeans can't play matches after 5pm EST. That said, I think the schedule should respect North American holidays as well as European holidays. It's better for everyone to have a weekend off than to have a bunch of no-shows or force teams to play with secondary lineups and lose their motivation.
  4. Sure you can, just ask EGO for tips
  5. +1 for Three's well-deserved self-praise. I would have included you in my best-of-all-times lineup, but your heyday came when I was already pretty much retired. Although, I could say the same about Rage as well.
  6. Dee used to be great. One of the best. It's a shame he only played for Addicts and retired around season 7. Had his career extended further, people would have given him a lot more recognition.
  7. Since I retired after season 12 and only came back last season, I've missed quite a lot of players on the top of their game. My dream team would be: Mushroom, Nacre, Chemical and Rage (with Mop as a captain and Travis as a sub). All of them besides Chemical (and Rage only on season 12) used to be on Intrepid between seasons 9 and 12 and as far as I remember, we went pretty much undefeated for 4 consecutive seasons (in a time, when league was still pretty popular).
  8. To add to my previous post, I only see two real downsides in this: 1) Lowered nerve/mental factor as people would be less stressed about dying out (choking) and thus throwing the game and getting the blame. 2) Loss of the tactical element to try to kill out the weakest slot. I don't think either of these two would make a huge impact though. Teams would still try to target the weakest link anyway, and less worrying of dying would mean more action and risks taken. And as 7th stated above, yeah sure, people can abuse this and play carelessly and die out 9 times on one slot, which would make it frustrating to the rest of the team, but how is that different than people currently going 0-3 right away and ruining the game? Most pracs/games are over anyway once a slot dies out. The rest of it is usually just a waste of time and not even fun to spectate.
  9. I kind of like this idea. Although nothing beats a nice comeback from being a man down to win it, I think games would be a lot more fun if slots couldn't die out at all. I think the best way to do this, is to auto-end games when one team reaches 9 deaths. This would correspond to a slot inevitably die out as it is. This change would make every prac and game fun until the very end.
  10. Good point. I guess you could argue that changing the map could force people to become a bit more active to learn the characteristic of the new map. Although, I believe in reality it wouldn't have much of an effect. On the contrary, I was trying out 4v4arcwide a couple of days ago, didn't like it, felt it was too crowded and kind of reminded me of warzone, so I just lost the will to play until the map is changed back to normal (or something different) again. In my opinion, if we change the map, it should be a slightly modified version of the good old league map. Maybe make it slightly smaller or so.
  11. I kind of like this idea as it gives more tactical options for squads. You have to choose between getting the easier but lower points, or risk it by challenging a top squad in hopes of a jackpot. Albeit, I see some problems in it too. If the picking of opponents goes from bottom to top, after a couple of rounds the bottom teams would always have to pick the top teams and hope for a miracle in order to keep their title dream alive. This in turn would mean that after round 2 or so, the top squads would always play all the remaining games against the bottom squads and squads in the middle would be left to face each other.
  12. I think full subs should be removed. They made sense back when player base was much larger, not anymore. I think cutting down the rosters would do more harm than good. Many squads struggled at some point to even get four two shop up, while they had 14 on the roster. If done, maybe revert back to having active and inactive players on the roster. Like 10 active and 4 inactive. Inactives could only play 1 game per season or so.
