Drop down menu freezes

When I load up continuum and try to click any of the drop down menus, they just freeze and then I have to close continuum and then when I try any other drop down menu on other programs such as I.E Dropdown menu it shows blank untill I rollover them.

This problem has only just started occuring and I do not think it is to do with my computer as it has only just started happening =S

 

I'm sorry if a solution has already been posted for this x.x

press ctrl + alt + del, go to the processes tab.

 

Sort the list by mem usage and tell us what comes up in the top6 with the numbers that it shows for their usage.

When something like that happens to me its normally something to do with low memory. How much memory do you have on your PC? try to close all the programs in the processes tab that you dont use like MSnmsgr.exe, dont try end the svchost.exe that you have even though there are alot of them

Found your problem. And I'm being honest.

 

AOL + Subspace or AOL + Continuum has been a pain for years now. 1st it was lag, and then with newer versions of AOL, it began crashing/closing Continuum with all of its new spyware and protection crap.

 

Close AOL, and try running continuum and see if the menus work, if so, there is your issue. Not sure if AOL can allow certain programs to ignore the spyware or to be oked, but if not, I'm sorry.

Err no that wasn't the problem and I know it wouldn't be because continuum did work a few days before the problem with aol. And I use aol for my connection so I can't close it lol. But yeh aol does suck

 

The problem was that I had too many processess, so I closed loads of them which was ran by my username which I wasn't actually using and that helped =D
