When I get into playing Extreme Games, after a while the Screen Freezes up on me?. When this happens I have to shut down my computer and re-boot it up! And then go back into the game, and after a while it freezes up again. Now this NEVER Happened to me when I first started to use Continuum!, (Old Sub-Space Gamer) this is a new thing (for me) when playing this game. I am NOT a Computer person! so what ever advise you give me, PLEASE make it in SIMPLE terms!. I have a Pent 3 Processor, and I am using Windows 98. And I think there is a 3DFX card or something with VOODOO in the name?. Now, Is there something else that I have to down load or is there a piece of equiptment th…

can anyone help? i have a win xp pro laptop with intigrated VIE AC'97 sound drivers. Earler today my sound died completly on spakers and headphones. I liik in device manager and the AC'97 codec returns an error: Cannot start device (code 10) i have tried to uninstall and reinstall drivers, rool back driver, system restore and nothing works. If anyone knows how or has a usefull link please post it. ty all

Ok, i start up continuum, goto any zone. I see the Entering Arena screen, then when it normally goes into the zone, it FREEZES, then in about a minute it unfreezes, goes to the gameplay. BY the time it's done unfreezing i guess i've been disconnected from the zone (i'm on 56k) and it says WARNING: Disconnected from zone (no data). It does this EVERYTIME. anyone have any help?

For the first time ever, last night, I witnessed a strange bug. In ?go ip of SSCX Hockey Zone, during a league game, a player without the ball permanently showed his name red, followed by "(Ball)", as if he was carrying the ball. This did not change when he got the ball and when he passed it away. I cured the problem by leaving the arena and rejoining, but later it happened again to another player. Again I left and returned, and I haven't seen this since. My specifications are the same as they have been since .39pr1 came out - I use that, WinXP, GeForce4 4600 - don't know what else you might want. I have been able to get into the screen where you can chat but I cant seem to get onto the screen where you can fly....every time i get there it automaticly takes me to the chat screen. I have tried redowloading the software but it does nothing Hope someone can help

I was wondering if anyone knew how I can go about sectioning off a part of my hd and !@#$%^&*igning it a letter. The thing is I want to rip all of my cd's onto my computer so I can make mixes and backups incase they get stolen or break, and instead of having them in a folder, I thought it would be kinda nice to have them on their own "drive". I'll open up continuum, then join Trenchwars. All of a sudden i'll be at my desktop. The chat thing works you know, but then I can't get into the game. It's not the resolution either, it's all the same. Sometimes it works, then sometimes it will minimize again. This happen to anyone before? Please help, thanks a lot. -Epik

I've contacted my isp several times about the huge packet loss issue i get in the tw server, they just contacted me and told that ctm's packets are very very small udp packets that dont even meet the standards. They said it's quite unlikely to get it to work over PPPoE, nevertheless users with dialup have the same ploss. Any ideas? ps. I live in Finland

-*BAD WORD*-o. About two weeks ago i got my sdsl, after being without any connection for half year. Before that i had 256/256 adsl. My current sdsl is 512/512. The thing that pisses me off now is too high ping. This current connection is supposed to be better and faster than previous, but it's more laggy ffs. It has been this now whole week, and it's enough to piss me off. Sometimes it's ok, my average ping is 200-220, but then it can suddenly throw me into spec (and in the middle of a flag game, not fun) and when i check my ping it can be as high as 600-700ms+. I play Extreme Games, and sometimes Chaos Legue. I live in Finland. I'm gonna attach a picture, so…
