Spinny Ship

I was playing good, till my ship starting spining out of control and i tried F11 to spec than come back and it still spun, so i exited out and came back and it still spun.. i haven't tried to restart my computer yet though, but i wanna know if anyone know's anything about this?Thanks For any help.

I got a problem after i switched from ADSL to cable. everything worked fine before,but now almost every zone is dead for me. i tryed formating calling isp who claims they cant do anything about it.so im wondering if anyone know if i can do something myself to fix it,cause its quite anoying. pernille

Well i was surfing one day when i needed to change tracks on my media player. I went alt-tab and noticed that my rotation was completely fuxored when i came back into the game. Apparently continuum jacks up my beautiful balance when i go alt-tab. I'm not sure if anyone else has reported on this and i probably should have checked but I though that it was worth mentioning again. There is nothing more important than catching a wormhole wave and ridding it alt-tabbed.

K, here's the problem... I click on the zone and the stars come up. I click on now for the rules and the download screen starts to come up. It goes black then goes back down to minimized. Then, i click on that and it comes up again. I hear sounds for like, 1 second before it minimizes itself again, only THIS time, the chat display appears for the zone. WHAT'S HAPPENING?!?!?!?!?!?!

k, here's the problem... When i click the zone, the screen with the rules thing come up just fine. Then the download screen starts to come up but the screen turns black. Then SS is minimized. I click on it and the same thing happens, it goes black and minimizes only THIS time, i here noise for half a second. Once it minimizes, the chat screen for the zone comes up . WHAT'S HAPPENING???

Can someone tell me if there is a specific 256 colorset for tilesets? I thought that there was only one, and now I'm not so sure. The one I have been using has a defintely grey pattern bias, and then a yellow pattern bias. Reds and Blues are meh. I thought that this was the only possible colorset. However, I opened 17th's tileset today and noticed that they don't have the same amount of blue that I am using. Does this make sense what I'm asking? I would really like to know if there is a specific pattern, or if you can adapt a specific set of 256 colors, or if it is more open than that. Zig? Mr.Ekted? Akai? help me here fellas. Thanks!

SS-Comp Crashing

Ok, I am getting really frustrated because for some unknown reason, whenever I run continuum, I can play for a random amount of time, and then my comp will crash. Right before it crashes I have no control over my mouse... it just drifts to the upper right portion of the screen if I'm alt+tabbed.. Any suggestions?

WARNING: No Data Coming From Server I used to play subspace all the time, and have recently reinstalled it. But I've had some unusual problems getting it up and running. Install is fine, and I can connect to all the servers fine. But every time I connect, about 30 seconds in to it, I get the error: WARNING: No Data Coming From Server I know this is normally caused by lag. I remember seeing it before when my connection got laggy. But there is absolutely no lag apparent in those 30 seconds I'm playing or watching. I require a little help with some php. I want to make a command button that takes you to an edit screen and allows an entry to the database to be edited, i am unsure on how to do this. I have thought about attching a hidden form to a command button that has each entry enterd into it, the button is then a submit button to an edit form which i can make and make an update function attatched to it. Is this the best way to aquire the values for an edit form or is there another way?

Okay, I open my main Continuum screen, I can see the zone lists and all but the moment when i press a button or click something it freezes... I tried uninstalling and installing again...now whenever i click the continuum link the hourgl!@#$%^&* shows up, nothing happens..any thoughts?

This has only just started happening to me the last couple of weeks. After typing a couple of lines of text while alt-tabbed cont will freeze and I have to quit. I've done some of the obvious things to try and find out the problem with no luck. Any ideas?

Now that keyboard remapping is prevalent, it has become common practice to remap x-radar to an easier key to use and instead of toggling as needed, players are holding it down anytime they aren't firing or recharging. By holding it down (permatoggle) they are getting all the benefits of x-radar at a SIGNIFICANTLY reduced cost. Run the tests yourselves. This design flaw seriously upsets the balance of ships in high-skill zones. I would suggest the creation of a toggle lock wherein if a toy (x-radar, cloak, etc.) is toggled more than X times in X seconds it is disabled for 10 seconds. Or something along those lines.

An owner of a subarena in a zone scored a goal that gave him 420420420 points. he then edited the settings and saved them. The arena recycles... so you come back into the zone in the main arena, and you now have 420420420 points. Apparently the points never used to save, but for some reason they do. We were both using .39, and it also apparently saves the scores of non-staff as well. Someone may want to look into this, or subarena owners and sysops could be handing out m!@#$%^&* amounts of points to the players.

For the last couple of weeks, I have been having an extreme problem with Continuum. As soon as it would download a map, any map, in any zone, it will close out of Continuum totally. I have tried several things, such as deleting everything continuum off my computer, using 3.9pre1, installing and reinstalling(it will not let me uninstall either with the message of "File "C:\Program Files\Continuum\unins000.dat" does not exist. Cannot uninstall".) and deleting all of my maps. Nothing seems to work. Please help me with this. I went into a zone and got a Sysop of that zone to tell me I had an error message saying "M <security> {0} [Lance] security packet not returne…

-*BAD WORD*-o, I found a way to cheat in continuum. You can walk through wall, never beeing kill.. the usual stuff. Its funny because everyone can do it (event without a "cheat" program if you are very very very lucky) until it's fix in the next release. The fun part is that you will have to stop the older version working to stop that difinively. Ok here a hint to the programmer about it. When you download the map, load it in memory at the same time! I think I told ennough and too much, contact me for more info. I can send you the source code of my program if you want, its kinda very basic... and explain how to reproduce the cheat. TIA FranKllr
