Hmm... Im trying to get into SSCC Unreal Tournament... But it's giving me the ol' "Invalid password" error... When I try to get into another SSCC or just an SSC zone, it works fine for me... Just not that zone Any idea whats up?

My Continuum SCREWED up

Ok, I wanted to play "Hockey Zone" so I tried askin in public chat how to. Bash told me to download the 0.39Setup file and it would work. Well, when I downloaded the file and tried, ALL of my zones were red and I cannot play Continuum anymore. Can anyone help me fix my problem AND help me able to play in the "Hockey Zone" Thanks!

I upgraded to Vista recently.. and I saved my Continuum folder. However, I've run into a few problems. I put macro.dat, macro.bak, profile.dat, profile.bak, keyboard.dat, and keyboard.bak in my current Continuum folder. Now, when I open the .dat in Notepad, it seems fine.. All of my stuff is there.. but when I go into Continuum, it doesn't load them. I am running Subspace v1.34 and it wont let me connect to any zones. I can only get in the offline practice zone. I get the error message saying there is not Internet connection.

After the upgrade to 2.0.0.2 it seems that Firefox is eating more memory than usual (around 98mb) and chomping on way too much CPU power. Every time I type or move my mouse over my FF window, my CPU spikes to 70%+ until I stop. Anyone else noticing anything simliar with FF?

Is there one for linux, or does priitk's one run reliably in WINE? I remember that if the directory server went down for a short period the zones stop updating themselves to it. is that true? or just my imagination I could definitely run one, I got a static IP and all that good stuff. my server doesnt go down much. but sometimes the line kind of ASSS up. it comes and goes though, I could be on for a month without any glitch and then one day it will run like !@#$%^&*, constantly reconnecting and that. I havnt been following the development of directory servers the past few years hehe

!@#$%^&*o, I'm an old DSB player, I quited playing about 2 years ago cause of packet loss problems, I could barley play or even log to DSB, that problem happened only in DSB zone, so I just gave up and stoped playing. Few days ago I downloaded Subspace again, at first I couldn't even download the DSB map, I just loged in and it couldn't p!@#$%^&* the 4-6% without getting a D/C I spoke with some people that gave me a link to a direct DSB download, so now I got the map&the game, but yet I can barley log in nor play I can log to all zones without any problems, no lag..no loging problems, even the maps downloaded pretty much fast. I just started to start continuum after recent years and when i downloaded it and let it update/download the zones an error comes up saying "Unable to retrieve zone listings. Make sure you are using one or more valid directory serve addresses (example: sscentral.subspace.net). Also, make sure you are currently connected to the internet. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME

I can verify the ability to emulate continuum via Parallels on Intel Macs. The only catch is you cannot run it full screen mode. On a G5 1.8Ghz mac you can only get about 13 fps on virtual pc. This topic isn't a help item, just informational.

I'm running XP Pro on VMware 5.5.3 under Edgy Eft and having some weird issues. It sets off cheat alarms and looks like it's skipping frames or something of the sort. It should be noted that I'm using "software rendering" because the default looks choppy as all heck and I'm pretty sure gives me the same problem. If anyone has any insight, I'd appreciate it. -Will

It seems what no matter what name I choose it's taken or the password is wrong. I used to play continuum back home and watned to start up again, but i cant log in because i have no screen name or no password that will work as a combination. I really don't know how to get it to work, i've used all names including just random typing and changing the passwords...and i can't get it to work...someone help???

OK, I play on SSCU death star battle, I have for years under the name Kirby! I've been Kirby!, Kirby!!, Kirby!!!, and now Kirby!!!!, I've also been JEDI>Kirby!, A>Kirby!, and maybe a few others a long tiem ago. I was wondering if there is a way to retrieve the password for Kirby!, pending I can find enough people to vouch for me. I also believe that IF I had registered a valid e-mail at the time I made the player, I doubt I will still even have it (was probably some AOL account or something. Is there ANY way to recover this? And if so, how do I do it?

This is weird, I appear to be having the same problem as a lot of people on here. Continuum not loading, and the frantically jumping process in ctrl+alt+del. However, whenever I do a system restore an earlier date it fixes it, but then if I run any registry, etc. fixing programs it messes up again. So it can't be a driver issue... Any ideas?
