Just for fun, and for some info into what is coming in the future of Continuum, post what you are currently working on! This should be informing as I'm sure all of you are hired by a zone already or are working on your own thing. I am currently working with Hyperspace since I loove the zone. What I'm doing for them is a series of .lvz images to create the public map with. Basically tiles. Also just made this, pretty cool right? Sooo, what are you working on?

We could use a subtle animation that would appear around or on top of you ship after you pick up a green. Sparkles, glitter, fireworks-type animation Glinting shine of an "energy shield" moving around your ship animation A simple icon that shows itself for a few second next to your ship Those are some ideas. I read the "Read this before requesting a tileset" and noticed you need a map...and i don't have one yet...BUT i do have a post on the map request that should describe to you pretty well what the map will be like. I also have somebody working on the map right now, and i can show you there progress if you ever want to know what it is like so far. Here are some specifications: Space theme 1-2 tiles thick Sleek, technological, metallic. I'm looking for a map. Here are some specifications: Tileset I have my own tileset, but if you have that will fit this...(see below) you can use yours Space battle sord of tileset (original) Looks sleek, shiny, and "aerodynamic". Maybe have some wiring going through the tiles? Map Design Make this map for 2 teams battling eachother. Each team is simply killing the other team, not playing CTF or turf. questions i have 1: what is better for programing (easyer / personal prefrence [why] ) 2: functions? when creating a module and you want a new function.. can you just create it without editing the core? 3: testing ASSS; do you need to have it in an arena or can you run the program source code and get a view of whats going on

Can anyone make a merve plugin that will allow the bot to prize certain ship / freq combinations when they enter the game in an arena? for eample, if ship 1 on freq 2 entered the game, from spec, you could asign a /*prize action of your choice to that player if he is obviously in the ship you !@#$%^&*igned for the prize. Also, I am looking for a plugin for merve that will PM players when they enter the arena, and allow me to set privactions= that I want sent when the bot pms them.

!@#$%^&*o members of ssdev , i come to you in need of help. The zone ssci Devastation is a dying zone.. but it has a player base of dedicated and passionate players and it would be painfull if the zone ceased to be. so XDOOM (owner) has come up with a plan to re-instate devastation into a more glorious and interesting zone. the way the zone has been played for 7years now is pretty baseless -- il explain it breefly -- Dogfighting is done in the middle of the zone untill 1 team has all the flags, that person with the flags (usualy a deva vet since it IS difficult to stay alive) then takes the flags to a base in either top or bottom left or right (4 bases), he th…

Thought this was gonna be kept tighter than it has been. We have a ton of people now who really don't do much development for the community. Basically the people who say "I can make maps and tile maps" or "edit settings." I wish it was kept harder to get into so the only people in it are people that zones would seriously pursue to help them. As it is right now, aqua and me alone probably match the rest of the team's development output (cept coders), 2 vs how many?

If anyone's plalyed star wars battle front, you'd know what i'm talking about. Anyway, i have made a module for the kill part of the game, meaning you have x deaths, if you get to 0 you lose. I also have the command post module under my sleeve. I've decided even with all these recources, that i'm going to start off with staff. In the past 3 zones i've made i try and finish it on my own which never works. If you'd like to be involved i'd like to give a quick "Checklist" so far: Modules are done mostly. Command Post graphics are being done right now. Shipsets are not bein worked on yet, but i did post a topic asking for help. Mapping is one area i'm not to bad in, and cou…

Some of you may know my Formula1 racing track events... Sepang, Canada, Autralia, and Brazil are the 4 currently available tracks. I'm currently making a (pretty complex) bot for it... Eventually, I'd like to have a functionnal HUD on each player's screen. I might need help for that part since I pretty much suck in design. you see...i was wondering if anyone was willing to create a shipset in relation to "Star Wars Battlefront". If you can, then i may be able to pull together a battlefront zone in about a week, as i already have a module for that game(kills), and a certain person has a commandpost module. Well i just came up with a new idea for a zone style game. The idea starts with two freqs (0,1) spawning each at a corner. 0 at top left 1 at bottom right. There will be two turf like flags that stay in place, in which each team has to try to capture/protect this flag for 4 minutes. The bases will be at bottom left and top right. Each team will have to run to the base on their own side to capture that flag and defend it. Someone else will have to run to the base on the other side of the map to capture that flag.
