I was wondering how doc flabby had the zone setup in mind. personally, i was thinking that we should make the zones at a much more similiar standard as far as money/points or maybe ships. I want this so that players can have ONE pot of money that they spend at any zone they want, and gain at any zone they want. It would also make more sense for newcoming players. I know when i first started playing ss, i entered one zone and got about 500 credits. then i went in another zone and i had 0 credits (never played there before) and i thought i had gotten ripped off.

There are discussions of whether or not a biller could be made to work with SSC. If it is possible, would you consider having your zone connect to such a biller? Or, do you think it's best for a open biller to be stand alone? This means that although user accounts (etc) are synced; SSC ban's will be enforced ontop of any Accede network ban's that might be set. The results of this will help determine how much time should be invested in this option. Clarification 1: With netbans, if you were banned on SSC you won't be allowed in Accede. But, if you're banned with Accede, does NOT imply you will be banned on SSC. The only netbans I forsee Accede having are blacklisti…

Hey cypher. I'm developing a small little zone for scrabble fans (because all the existing scrabble arenas in subspace are poor and neglected). I'm currently running my own biller, but I was thinking about switching over to accede on a permanent basis, but I was wondering what the uptime on the biller is at this stage in developement? The only thing that would stop be from joining accede is if it would affect the ability of people to log into my zone. (I'm running subgame at the moment) Additionally, are there any other considerations I should make before connecting to Accede?

tcsoccerman, I don't know if you started anything yet... but anyways, I almost have a functionnal skinnable menu interface... If you want to work on stuff, you could do the profile manager, key manager, macros... these kind of things. I just need to find out how to draw stuff like a bitblt... Right now, as soon as the picturebox refreshes, I lose my image... grr... I'm getting used to C# again by doing this, so once I'm mostly done I could help on the engine I guess... openGL sounds like fun

Hey guys. Just wanted to make a request for a couple graphic enhancements for Star Wars -I have an existing tileset that I am using for an upcoming map release, but I want it to look a little less generic, its a very plain looking set. Also, I would like to have the Doors, and Fly over/under energy beams color changed. -I have an image of a Jedi Holocron (data storage) that I would like to have a custom flag image/lvz modeled after. I assume you have completed part 1 and have a used SVN checkout, to checkout a repository. I now introduce a couple of new concepts. Find that folder you created. If you right click on it you can choose SVN Update This will update your copy of the information with any changes made by other people on the current repoistory you are using (this will be 'trunk' at the moment). SVN Commit. You must SVN Update before you can use this. This will save your changes to the SVN server and make then advaiable for everyone. DO NOT DO THIS NOW. As it will be on the 'trunk'. First Install TortoiseSvn http://tortoisesvn.tigris.org/ (You may have to restart) Create a new folder, this is where the files will go. Right click on the folder and choose SVN Checkout... In the URL of Repository type https://subspace2.svn.sourceforge.net/svnro...e2/client/trunk Click ok. Its will download the latest trunk version of the client to your folder. I need a module to handle a dueling division. Similar to TWDD. It should connect to a website and display statistics. If you'd like, don't work on this now but leave it open to do it in the future, the zone is not launched, I don't need statistics yet. Just saying that I have some kind of horrible lag... can't even get in any zones, even though the ping is fine... Seems like a big ploss problem. me and my buddy are making a pretty cool zone and it should be one of them zones that stick arround forever, we need a bot or a module, preferably module. Specs: Zone is a huge 'running' map with small bases scattered around it and warpradiuslimit set to 1024. Obviously, all ships have fairly high speeds, but well balanced, you should all check it out . Anyways there are only 3 carriable flags. I want this to be sort of a super rabbit zone. So when the bot notices a player picked up a flag, he should be sent to the flagger freq with the other two flaggers. Hi, thanks for reading. I'm EuRa, EG Moderator, League Coordinator. I run 2 types of leagues, one is vet league, the other is for vets and noobs alike, called a draft league. In every season of the draft league, I have had between 100 and 200 noobs sign up. This past season, however, I had about 50. When I started questioning new players from all zones, I realized that EG was a gateway zone for a lot of players. The decline in numbers, however, made me wonder what the !@#$%^&* was going on.
