When using the tile text the border tile space interfers with it. Anyway to move the border tile to the other side?

I'm having a few projects that are taking quite alot of time due to the fact that there is nothing to speed it up really. So would it be possible to make a walltileish tool for dcme that would fill certain area or perimeter with a edge tiling. And yes I made pictures to explain it better. http://img523.imageshack.us/img523/4200/suagbys8.png So the system needs to have 12 or 24 tiles depending if you want the insides to go in as well. You would probably paint an area you want to have your tiles in. Probably could use this as a new tool. Have an outlines which would mark the outside area and some bucket to fill the inside area. Im looking to make my own tiles and i noticed some maps look like they upload them, how can i upload tiles? Like full snowmen ect

Get it now From http://dcme.sscentral.com New beta release available 3.4.0 - 29/09/2008 I'm almost done with all these improvements in DCME. A few things are still left to do, which is why this release is not yet available through auto-update. Basically, the whole process of drawing stuff on the screen is about 2 to 4 times faster. Several details are now properly rendered as well. For example, transparent fly-under tiles are now rendered with transparency, and each LVZ image is on its respective layer. Several other things have been fixed or improved: Ellipses and special shapes are not slow to draw anymore, and are more accurate All known memory leaks are fixed…

Fixed an annoying bug when selecting lvz images and changing their layers. There still are several bugs of inaccurate drawing.. like one pixel off, or, like I just noticed, large lvz images are sometimes not drawn at all when zoomed in 2:1. I'll have to work these out before releasing "officially"... bleh... Also, all lvz data is now put in .\DCME LVZ files\lvzname\... instead of .\lvzname\..., which made A LOT of folders after a while. All the data there is simply the uncompressed data from imported lvz's, it's very safe to delete. But I don't think I want DCME to delete it automatically... it could create problems if you actually want to keep those files. Upl…

Hi. Yeah, DCME is now crashing when it opens my new public map. Every other map I save can be opened again. I tried copying and registering all libraries that were in the DCME folder that were not there already, with no luck. So I guess I will attach my log and map.

Make it so theres a list of tile squares, and you can choose which become fly under/over safes if any. Seems useless to have a fly under tile if u dont need 1

Hey, I just started DCME and let it auto-update because it said it was essential. Yeah essential to screwing it all up When I open I get an error. When I press enter (hit OK in the error box), the program closes, automatically starts up again and gives another error (see below). Right now I'm going to delete the whole thing and try a fresh install. Try dragging the pencil into the right side of the program while drawing. You get a "TransparentBlt failed!"

I just made the cogwheel much smoother... But I know there are some standards for gear dimensions, to make sure they fit together. Like the internal radius should be X fraction of the contact radius (forgot what that one was called) Anyway... if anyone around here have quick links to these kind of things, would be nice. Cogwheels could be nicer, and most likely be drawn faster too, cause we could draw them with a predictable number of lines, instead of drawing a segment for each fraction of circle

I made some improvements for saving and loading ASSS regions. The opening speed was already improved in the latest release, due to the new byte array. I'm using Hyperspace's omega11.lvl file as reference... that map has like 50 huge regions Opening it takes me 3.7s This morning, saving it took me like 32s I just made that much quicker... saves in 11s now. Still long, but can't say a 66% decrease is negligeable Basically it was using very inneficient dynamically-resized arrays... Everytime it had to add something in the array, it had to resize it. Hi, I found a bug. The map does not refresh when you are moving the pointer to select a starting point for a shape in the "Other Shapes" tool with a space station. Thus it makes a trail of space stations that go away when you change parts or tools. Also works with Wormholes and Large Asteroids.

The 3.4.4 circle tool is really laggy for some reason , i can get a good circle because i cant see it , but meh im not too fussed ill just use 3.0.0 it works fine for me. (*maybe it's just me*) also bravo on the fly on map tool it's working fine for me now , just some times buggy if i add my own shipsettings. -Mage+

Whenever I save a map, the loading bar gets stuck on 100%, but I can still edit the map in DCME or close it. When I try to load a map, It freezes on 0% and I have to Ctr+alt+del and maybe logout for it to stop. I attached my log file.
