I just wanted to suggest that you guys get some sweet victory music instead of the crud that has been around since the beginning of time. Maybe some Prodigy or some Amon Amarth or some Amish Rake Fight or a billion other things! Wheee. <_<

Hey guys, I need your opinion. I know this entire description is long, but it is important for everything to I have been working on making minor changes to the settings, adding GFX, and using the new tileset again in a subarena. While I was doing this I thought of a very interesting gameplay. I think the zone should move to public freqs only 2 teams of whatever ... private freqs can still be allowed, but to a maximum of 2 people.

I had a suggestion for the zone that came from a player. Reduce the points ... (jackpots) to more resonable levels as there is no point in reaching point totals of near 1 billion. Thoughts?

First, the discussion from chat (some emphasis on points that seem important-ish): Anyway, my thoughts are that if we make freqhopping illegal some people will leave (one or two at the moment but that's a big number for Deva...). That's the major concern. A drop in the sea is !@#$%^&* big if the sea is so small... Of course it cannot be denied that most people are in it for the points, even though the actual fun is in the fighting. And it does aggravate people if someone else !@#$%^&*es their points away. And there is also the issue of balanced teams... in a smaller game, freqhoppers can distory the balance badly. I'm not really sure what to do... on on…

Hey guys. We need a new map for the zone. And for that matter a new tileset. Here is the deal ... we can only do this if we have new bases, because quite frankly, these bases are getting too tight, too small for a large flag game in these settings. I'm not talking about massive bases, but bases like what you see in red star and EG. I know SOS for the most part is against this ... he likes the old school look. However, its not going to help our zone if we dont make a change and soon.

Well, that's not good. Perhaps encouraging people to start up a new game by prizing everyone 10k bounty or so for the first 30 minutes after a jackpot? To make it rise faster. Or some way to encourage dogfights? Or some way to just relax after a heavy flag game? Wild idea: after flag game, three boxes will randomly appear on the map one after another with 15 seconds in between. Whoever gets to one first gets 5 million credits. They time out in 3 minutes (each one).

Since you get them from JP only, newbies don't really get the "credit whoring" feel during the actual game. Perhaps say... 250 credits per kill? Any objections/suggestions?

I'm posting for ALL those people who are currently complaining about the current buyables. Now, buyables are good, and can highly turn the tables around, but there are SEVERAL pitfalls to them. The current buyables, which I strongly agree with, should be changed completely As most of you know, You know what the buyables are. I'll list them anyways with PITFALLS and ADVANTAGES with each. I'm just posting this because people want me to post it...(not to mention any names ) Anywho, you all know deva is flagging based, correct? Also, there is a dog-fight aspect as well... Now, the idea (not mine, people just has asked me to post) is to bring back the SPREE notifications. I.E. I kill 5 people, without dying Kick me!! is on a killing spree! (5:0) I kill 10 people, without dying (of course) Kick me!! is on a rampage! (10:0) and so on. I think it's a great idea, because then people become very determine to kill that person on the spree... and it's just nice to know ALSO: A idea with CREDS linked to this.... I'm looking to upgrade the tileset ... but I have had no luck finding anybody with good GFX knowledge to do something that would be in the line of zones like EG and Red Star ... I think a modern tileset is key in gaining interest in the zone. Any suggestions?

Since the losers might really not like being swindled out of their juicy JP and might be drawn away from the zone by it, I was thinking that perhaps giving them 20% of the JP in credits might be good? Also, about the periodic credit giving. Should we keep it (at a much reduced level, of course. Say 1 million every 15 minutes)?

Okey, the credit bot is up for a test run. Doesn't really do anything yet Right now, it gives the JP and flag rewards to you in credits and you can buy scorereset (which also resets credits). Graphical credit counter will come within a week. Time to cook up some items for it. First, maybe a general price guide is needed? Hey guys ... I've noticed that even with a small amount of people ... there is a ton of reps available thru greening ... on top of the ships that come with 2-3 reps. Do you think we should descrease the amount of reps available to green ... and eliminate any ships with more then 3 reps (and possible remove some ships with 2 reps down to 1 rep?) -xdoom

Any need for some graphical notification when the JP increases? If yes, then what kind of notification would you like? I remind you that we already have a textual and audible notification in the form of the JP message I don't really see a need for something like this, but let me know what you think.

Hey, I started a new topic about the credit system, this is an idea kick me put in a different topic. I have an idea for a bot. Have another 24/7 bot, but with a credit feature for buying stuff, ya know. Have like, per kill, 10 creds and per death, 2 creds, and 40 creds per goal or something in that nature. It will possibly encourage other players to play the zone more often, wanting to buy items (such as super, points, w/e) or for simply bragging rights. For events, make them worth credits rather than points, making buyables more flexable. Some people don't really care about the points, so instead, they could buy super, or shields (if possible), rockets, OR buy the p…
